I am semi-retired and love to interact with the guests (if it works for them). There is a lot to see in this area and I can be a guide (when available) or generally offer site seeing guidance. I do art (acrylic on unfinished Masonite current project is the redwoods in this area), I cook when I am available, help people find out what they are meant to do with their life in my workshops and as a life style, and generally stay happy and appreciative.
To experience more nearby scenic opportunities, lightly guided life style and goal exploration, or quiet time for projects or art time, it maybe good to consider staying more than a single day.
I have a couple mottoes. The first is from my work at Cookery At The Cove see featured Cooking School Bon Appetit April 1979. "They come as strangers and leave as friends". Or my Christian Friend Clarence "My guests are friends that i haven't met yet."
