What a beautiful piece of architecture! The place and the views are amazing! Wayne was a great host and I couldn't of enjoyed my stay more. I very much recommend The Penthouse at Casa Wheeling to anyone visiting El Paso.
The Penthouse of Casa Wheeling was just perfect. And the view of El Paso and Mexico was stunning. The penthouse was very stylish and comfortable. Communication with Wayne went very smoothly but unfortunately our schedules didn't allow us to meet. I would have enjoyed meeting him. There is a flight of stairs located just inside the front door of the penthouse that takes you up to the main floor, which may be a concern if you are sensitive to stairs and I'm pretty sure there was not an elevator. I would definitely recommend Casa Wheeling!
WOW! What an amazing work of architecture this place is. Wayne was a PRO host :) Words won't do the view/location justice... check it out for yourself. Can't wait to go back for more.
My husband and I enjoyed an awesome evening at Casa Wheeling. All u need is provided including a spectacular view. The penthouse was perfect and Wayne's recommendations for sightseeing and eating out were spot on. Thank u Wayne!
Wayne's penthouse in El Paso was really, really special. It's one of the most well designed and comfortable AirBnb places I've ever stayed at and was a stand-out against the uniform-looking houses in the city. The modern, unique building it's in was custom built and has a beautiful view looking out over El Paso and Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. It's also a short hop away from the scenic drive at the very top of the city.
Staying in this incredibly well designed space with a fully stocked kitchen makes it hard to ever justify staying in a hotel. Wayne was a great communicator and made us feel immediately welcome, giving us restaurant recommendations and things to do, as well as a brief tour of the place.
Thank you Wayne for an amazing time! If we come back to El Paso, we'll be staying here again for sure.
Wayne's place is truly a gem.
The Penthouse you stay at has all the privacy one would need.
It was all handbuilt by Wayne and Co., so it's not only well constructed, but also really beautiful and unique. Very, very cool.
And it has a nice, large roof deck from which you can see practically all of El Paso, and Ciudad Juarez.
(I remember clearly the word painted on a hilll above Ciudad Juarez: "La Biblia es la verdad. Léela")
Anyway, I'm hooked.
Oh, and I had morning coffee with Wayne.
Although I had to hit the road, we talked for something like and hour and a half.
So, this all only whet my beak when it comes to El Paso and Juarez. I will be returning just as soon as I can.
