I love travering!!
it's my first time to use Airbnb. I am glad to stay in Eri's place where is in wonderful location. I don't need to worry about food and shopping. Also, about the apartment, she provided almost everything I need, such as mobile wifi ap. super recommend to who would like to travel in Tokyo.
Very nice stay in this tiny but all comfy place :) close to convenient store and subway ! Would stay again !
Fantastic little place to stay in the centre of Tokyo for the price! It's not glamorous and, even if you're used to Japanese micro-culture, very small, but it gets the job done. Eri was great too; very nice and helpful. Will certainly look at staying here again if I'm ever in Tokyo :D
Nice location and environment. Near the Ebisu station, which has so many railways to get there and go out. Big station but not too crowded. The room is comfortable and with instructions of the equipment and maps nearby.
This was a very simple but convenient place to stay. Ebisu is in a good central location and there is a fair bit of stuff on your doorstep as well. The place was maybe a little smaller than I'd expected but really that wasn't a problem - you won't be spending much time there anyway. It was comfortable and warm though, and Eri was very helpful.
Thank you Eri! you are very kind!
Your house is good to me!
One week stay. January 2014
A nice place to stay in Tokyo with a very accommodating host for a price comparable to cheap hotel rooms. Recommended if on a budget!
A small, Japanese apartment not far from Ebisu station. Check-in and check-out was easy even without meeting the host. It is very easy to stay warm— having two heaters and a very comfortable futon. Turning on the hot water might be confusing for a first-timer to Japan, like it was for me, but she leaves instructions and you can contact her anytime. There is plenty of toilet paper, tissue, bottled water, and magazines for travelers with suggestions for places to visit. The folder placed on the table when you first arrive also has suggestions and a map with convenience stores, groceries, and a laundromat marked.
The TV has most of the main channels and no remote. The hair dryer has plenty of power. On that note, the electric panel cannot handle a lot of power, so you'll need to flip the switch above the bathroom door whenever it goes out. If you plan to cook there is a pot, pan, hotplate, and knife, but you need to bring everything else. Being a Japanese bathroom, it was not designed for a tub, but she put one in, perhaps because the floor drain is a little slow. The smoke detector is typical of Japanese smoke detectors and is sensitive to steam, so keep the bathroom door closed when bathing. There is mirror above the toilet, but it is too far away for things like shaving and the sink is not in the bathroom anyway. Bring your own bath towel. For that, and if doing your own laundry in the sink, be sure to bring a clothesline of your own and a way to hang it.
Free Wi-Fi is rare in Japan, so the included portable Wi-Fi is a wonderful convenience. The area has places for food, shopping, and foreign currency exchange at the UFJ bank right across the street from the station. It's also a very lively area at night about a block away.
It was a good stay overall!
Eri's apartment was tiny and utilitarian — and in an amazing location, right between the many restaurants of Ebisu and the charming boutiques and cafes of Daikanyama. When a lightbulb burned out, Eri kindly fixed it the next day, and we were perfectly cozy and well-equipped with an electric kettle, microwave, space heater, and nice hot shower. Great deal for the price and location.
The apartment was very small, not going to lie, but it was all we needed for our last night in Tokyo! It was so convenient, especially when spending our last day in Shibuya which is only one station away! Very easy to find. Eri was so helpful! We wanted to spend as much time as possible in Shibuya on our last day in Japan so asked if we could arrive around 10.30am (knowing this was a very slight chance) but she said it was no problems at all! It was a great place to stay and the portable WiFi made life so easy! Recommend!
