I am easy going person, who likes to meet new people from different part of the world. like to enjoy life
Franck is a very nice man and eager to help. However, we were hoping to stay with a native Icelander and as an immigrant his knowledge of Iceland was lacking. His photos were deceptive and the room was very small with no place to put anything but in the suitcase on the floor which we had to crawl over to reach the bed. It was not very clean and the water was scalding hot most of the time. Very disappointed.
Franck's place is conveniently located to the downtown. You can reach everything by foot. He was very welcoming and he let me use the breakfast supply. I had to arrange a bit with the early arrival of other guests though - Franck generously offering his room. The only thing I could not handle seems to me an Icelandic specialty: the (too) hot shower. If you are as sensitive as me to warm water, a very nice swimmng pool is just 200 meters away offering a 25m pool and two hot tubs outside. In any case, this is recommended to visit.
Franck was etremely accomodating and helped me out / gave me advice with a lot of things that I needed as first-timer in Reykjavik.
It is also very well located near the main street, however still in a very calm housing area.
I can do nothing but recommend the place, and Franck as the host.
Franck was great. He was flexible about my arrival time, provided a bunch of maps and tourism info, was friendly and helpful with everything, and gave helpful advice on bus schedules.
The room was very nice, clean, the bed comfortable and warm. Franck provided towels which is always nice, not having to use a little travel towel. The location is excellent, great launching point for sightseeing in Reykjavik and walking around the city. All the important major bus stations are 5-15 minutes' walk.
I'd stay here again! Thanks!
Franck is a wonderful host! He both picked me up and dropped me off at the bus terminal, and helped with luggage and even offered food and wine during my stay. Flat is super close to the main shopping street and no more than 20 mins from the other ends of the city centre.
Basic clean and safe room in city center. Very accomodating and friendly host. Breakfast items provided, towels included. 15 min walk with suitcase to BSI, and city center, 5 min to oldest pool in town.
Franck was very kind to pick me up at BSI in the evening.
Would recommend this host to anyone.
Franck was very accomodating and great to talk to. His place is located in a quite neighborhood but very close to downtown Reykjavik. I would stay there again.
Franck is very friendly and we were very happy when he drived us to to the busterminal, on the time that we asked for. It was our first visit via AIRBNB so its difficult to judge about the apartment, but again - Franck is a very polite, silent and helpful person and the apartment is safe and close to everything.
Franck's place in Reykjavik is the perfect place to explore the city and region. It's a short walk away from the Reykjavik excursions bus terminal with a direct trip from there to the airport. You can walk to the town and explore restaurants along the way. The place itself was clean and tidy with decent WiFi and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom available. Arrival was difficult as I didn't know Franck's direct address, and as such I recommend you get the full address from Franck as I almost gave up and got a hotel after searching for 20 minutes! It was smooth sailing after I did find it though :)
Franck's place is well situated, just a the top of the main street, but in a quiet area. The room is basic but clean and warm: all you need when you're out and about in the city! It also locks with a separate key, which I guess is useful. Franck was a lovely host, available to chat, very generous, and makes you feel at home straight away.
Frank B. is a good host and his house is in a quite area down town loose to everything. I recommend staying at his place!
