I live in New York City, and enjoy travelling. When I'm not in New York, I'm usually in Los Angeles or Germany.

It was a pleasure to host Dena! Everything was fine!
Great guest. Easy to communicate and left the apt clean and tidy.
Dena is delightful, respectful of property as if it is her own, and quiet as a mouse! I hope that she comes to stay at The Village of Cheshire again!
Dena is simply the best. other than being a really good friend, I have worked with Dena on a number of projects and am always astounded by her ability to be productive and relaxed at the same time... I should also mention that she's an incredible cook & the smartest person I know!!! She knows and goes to all the good spots whether its a fancy yoga studio or a secret chinatown grocer, she has boundless secrets in store. I can only imagine a trip to NY under Dena's wing would be amazing... and by the way, Dena is a woman of excellent taste so obviously, her apartment is STUNNING.
Dena is a really good friend of mine. She's a wonderful person and one of the smartest people I know. She's calm, considerate, very funny, responsible, and, above all, kind. Everyone likes her. In addition to be a person of real substance and character, she has that mysterious, hard-to-define, know-it-when-you-see-it quality of coolness. What better way to acquire that vibe for yourself besides staying in her equally stylish apartment? It's located in the borderlands between the Lower East Side and Chinatown, most interesting neighborhood in NYC at the moment if you are interested in design, art, music, fashion, food, and/or pop culture. There are dozens and dozens of fantastic restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and boutiques within walking distance, not to mention all of the incredible cuisine options of Chinatown right around the corner. Yet her block is rather quiet and neighborhood-like, so you won't be woken up by street noise. Staying here will give you a "real New York" kind of experience, without stranding you far from things you want to do. It's also a very safe neighborhood. I know the area well and have never felt uncomfortable walking around it alone late at night. I can't recommend Dena or her apartment strongly enough. They're both marvelous.
I met Dena in the Swiss alps in a bar full of philosophy students. Since then I have stayed with her several times in New York since I live in LA. Her apartment is very cute and well laid out, perched over a quiet stretch of Canal Street that is convenient to pretty much anywhere I need to be when I'm in the city. It's only one flight of stairs up which is rare, and Dena's one of the most put together and tasteful people I know (aesthetically and morally) so I'm sure that anybody staying at her place would have a happy, comfortable, surprise-free visit.
Such a fantastic apartment! I stayed here all of August and wish I could have stayed longer! The place was immaculate, extremely quiet, filled with great art and furnishings, friendly neighbors, an exceptional host, and ideally located- it situated in between Chinatown and Lower East Side, and I could get to my office in SOHO in a matter of minutes. I plan on staying here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great and affordable place to stay in NYC.
Dena is a good friend of mine - she is super sweet, organized, clean and easy to communicate with, and she will make your stay in NY the best! Her apartment will make you feel at home: it is really comfortable with nicely equipped kitchen, in the middle of Lower East Side/Chinatown with some of my favourite bars and restaurants around - Enfants Terribles, Petisco, Clandestino and Brown bar, just to name a few:) It is equipped with everything you might need for a stay in NY and really stylish little details and art prints. Totally recommended!
