Nice location and friendly staff. Very capable in English and nice breakfast every morning.
It was a pleasure hosting you guys...
The hotel is well (email hidden)ose to the main attractions in Amman. The rooms are comfortable...there was even a heater which you need in Amman in winter. Wifi worked well. The hosts were accomodating. I asked to switch to a different room after the first night..one that did not face the main street... and they let me switch. They are also great at arranging excursions in and near Amman. The drivers they hired for me were professional and the cars were modern and comfortable. Breakfast is decent, too. Overall I really don't have any complaints. Also, their two cats are very cute!
Beautifully designed and cozy place, really awesome and friendly staff, good breakfast, working WiFi. If I'm back in Amman, I'll definitely go there again.
You are most welcome to stay with us anytime :)
Sidney hostel is one the best places I ever stayed!! Tarek (who runs the place) is definitely the most helpful person I ever met. I felt like I was at my own home and it was very sad for me to leave the place. Sidney hostel is quiet, clean, comfortable, has a great breakfast. I guess it has everything that a traveler is looking for.
It was really sad for us to see you leave but we hope you can make it back someday.
This will always be your second house.
Dia was very nice, staying up late as I arrived in town after midnight. All staff were approachable and friendly. The room was clean and quiet.
We had a great stay at Sydney Hotel! The staff are extremely helpful, and friendly! The room was nice, with very big bed and a fan. Good location, close to markets, the citadel, roman theatre and the best restaurant in Amman! (Hashem). They also have several very well priced tours around Jordan available. Highly recommend Sydney Hotel!
We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
Thank you :)
The Sydney Hotel is the perfect stay in Amman! It is located just 5 minutes from Rainbow Street and everything else you need. The rooms are very clean and the hotel in general very cozy. Dia and Tarek were the best hosts, helping with everything and giving advices concerning all our "problems". Thank you very much for everything!
Thank you Tatjana for the lovely feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
We stayed with my husband a week at Dia´s hostel. It´s right in the center, a 10 minutes walk from the old city. Dia is very nice and extremely helpful. In general the hostel has an easy-going and informal atmosphere. All the staff speaks english and they were all friendly. They help with transportation from and to the airport and provide private taxis, or help with renting a car to go around Jordan. The room was quiet and the shared bathroom was always clean. If you are a backpacker looking for a clean, modest and economic place, it´s a good option.
Staying at Sydney Hotel was the best decision I have made. It is especially great if you are travelling solo. I didn't get a chance to meet Dia since he was away, however, Tarek the General Manager is wonderful, very helpful and available all the time to answer any of your concerns or help you book trips around Jordan. The place has a very warm family friendly vibe that makes you feel at home, also expect to meet lots of people who are in Amman to do volunteer work, study Arabic or just here for tourism, nonetheless all have an interesting story to share, and you will leave with new friends. The location is excellent, central and close to the cool areas. I am a female solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable with my stay here, thus I highly recommend Sydney. Thank you Tarek for the lovely hospitality and for making my stay special.
Clean room and helpful staff. We only stayed one night before leaving for Petra, but the room was good and we would go back when visiting Amman.
