I live at the top of the proerty and can assist you in anything that you might need. thanks Nick (phone number hidden)
We had a very nice stay. We didn't stay in the Hilltop Studio. Stayed in the Garden Unit. Don't know why it showed up this one. Quiet place to stay. Very pretty view. We weren't there much as we were out sightseeing. Kitchen has a few things. Glass coffee cups. I was concerned about microwaving them. But all was good. Visited with Nick briefly a couple mornings. Washer and dryer on site is handy.
I liked the bed. My husband didn't but Oh well :) Driveway is a little spooky but there isn't anything you can do about that.
We enjoyed the location in Kaneohe. From there we traveled to northern beaches and to things we wanted to do on the other side of the island. Highway access was close and there were all the things we needed in Kaneohe, such as stores, restaurants and even pharmacies.
We enjoyed the top of the house we stayed in and we used the beach things Nick had for renters to borrow. The view was beautiful! The host was only a phone call away for our questions and needs.
Stayed in the Garden View One Bedroom. The place is okay - make sure that you're getting a great deal on pricing in order to get value for your money. It was a bit dirty and beat up, in my opinion and we over payed significantly when compared to resorts like Turtle Bay (same rate), etc. The garden in the photo is actually the parking lot and the room seems like a garage, converted into an apartment.
If you go in with these expectations, I'm sure you'll enjoy the venue and the nice views.
Had a great stay in the Garden View condo and it was great to cook a few of our meals at home. It was located in a great spot and we could get on all the main highways and could go either into Kailua or Kaneohe. The view was spectacular and it was quiet.
Everything ok. Very nice place.
A wonderful place to stay; it feels like a house a 1950s movie star would have owned and entertained loads of guests at!
Having the indoor grill to cook for 9 people was extremely convenient and the house is so large that everyone still feels like they have their own private space.
To begin with let me say the only nice thing about this home is the view. This is a old home with much needed cleaning, repair and renovation.
What the description didn’t tell was the house fronts Kaneohe Bay Drive. There is constant traffic from scooters, motorcycles, transit buses, trucks of various sizes and all with loud engines.
From the base of the stairs to the master bedroom the carpet was dirty, full of stains. There had been a towel bar on the wall near the shower but it had been pulled off and the holes not repaired. The lanai off the master bedroom: mold and mildew were on the chair cushions
The second lanai had no furniture and the tile was covered in mold and mildew.
Wi-Fi in the house worked about 10% of the time.
Toward the end of our visit I called the owner and asked if we could have some extra guests over for a BBQ. This is something the owner requires for visitors. His response was if he gets a complaint of noise from a neighbor he keeps our security deposit. This bit of information was not in the rental agreement. I told him that they were well behaved. He said when people get drinking they make allot of noise. I told him that it’s ok for the neighbors to make a noise complaint but his renters cannot. The dog next door that would bark all night and day. He said he can’t control his neighbors.
We didn’t use the Jacuzzi as there was too much sand in the bottom and something floating in the strainer.
False advertising. The pictures posted on AirB&B were nothing like what the house looks like.
The reservation was canceled 34 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This is a super place to see the Island from! It has wonderful views and is roomy and comfortable. Nick was super and helped with little issues I had. I have lived in Hawaii most of my life and I can tell you this is a super deal and is really easy to get to from the H3 on the Windward side of the island. You don't have the noise of Waikiki just birds chirping in the morning. With much Aloha (website hidden) I would definitely stay here again and the remodeled kitchen was great.
Nick was a perfect Host! Always was available by phone, was very easy to talk to, & very accomidating. The guest house was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The view is truly spectacular! We were very pleased with our stay, and hope to visit again soon. Thank you Nick for Magical memories made!
