I presently live in Los Angeles, California and make my living as a filmmaker. Independent film is a terrific interest as I've made several films but my rent is paid by directing and editing television shows such as 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Private Practice'. I enjoy cinema, reading, art, food and music-- I love music and take every opportunity to discover new sounds.
Though I've spent the last 17 years in the City of Angels, I've traveled quite a bit both domestically and in Europe (including East Berlin just after the Wall fell) and Asia (Philippines, Korea, Malaysia and Japan). The aspects of travel that keep me coming back are the adventures of meeting new people and discovering new sights and ideas.
Over the past few years, I've integrated my love of running with travel and often will find a race (usually an off-road trail race or marathon) and employ it as an excuse to travel. Most recent races include the Tokyo Marathon, Arizona Rock-n-Roll 1/2 Marathon and Portland 1/2 Marathon. Life is short and I believe in making the most of each day.
