הדירה הייתה ממש נקייה ומרווחת , הכל היה מושלם . כניסה פרטית מאוד נוחה .
The place was very clean and neat. I was greeted by Uriyya's brother .(Uriyyah was out of town). The brother was very nice, hospitable and helpful.
The place is very basically furnished. The entrance requires climbing outside stairs. An addition for using the second room was imposed.
The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Altogether the place is satisfactory.
Uriya was great. He met me with the keys, did a brief walk-through, showed me what I needed to know, and even offered to help connect me with people I might want to meet. The apartment was very reasonably priced, and I greatly preferred it to a hotel. It's not a hotel-quality bed, nor are the linens and towels hotel-quality cloths. The place is spartan, functional, quiet, private, and clean.
It's in a very quiet, residential student neighborhood above the family home. The house has a lovely garden entrance and I found it very easy to park right outside the gate. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance.
I stayed with a friend for ten days at the appartment. For us, everything was perfect. The appartment was very tidy and clean and I think this is one of the most important things. Uriya is very friendly and answers mails very fast. To sum it up, I would come again to this appartment.
I have a strange feeling concerning this “beautifull” apartment. I stayed with my wife for three nights in March.
Positive : Communication with Uriya and her wife was quick and efficient. The bed is comfortable. Nevertheless it is not sufficient to compensate the low quality of the studio.
Negative : The pictures suggest that the apartment is rather simple, a situation that may be acceptable when the aim is just to visit the south of Israel and not to stay relax in the studio. But in practice it is disappointing, because it is ugly. Unless if you like the fashion of 1970! In my opinion, some improvements are necessary. Refresh painting, repairs of electric plugs, removing the horrible air conditioned apparatus; add things for kitchen (a large colander etc). Broom and shovel.
One day, the outside gate was closed from the interior by a person of the house. To overcome this unpleasant situation I was obliged to stride over the portal which is 2m high to unlock the door.
The price is exaggerated by 30% with respect to the “Spartan” accommodations offered.
I do not recommend excepted for backpackers not very demanding.
Everything was perfect
Overall the place was as described. It was centrally located. Other than needing more dishes and other kitchen things and the internet not working well, the place worked out fine. The host was Uriya was very helpful planning our stay.
Great accomodation and very friendly hosts! Uriya & Adi were available all the time and constantly open for our wishes. We really enjoyed our stay in Beer Scheba.
Uriya's house is a lovely two room house in Beer Sheva, a town in the Negev desert, Israel. The house is spacious and all required amenities are provided (including towels, soap, linen, hot water, cleaning, coffee, even cookies and pastries!). The pricing is very good, the area is safe and not noisy and close to Ben Gurion Uni, the North train station, and the city center, and this is a real bargain, compared with the only hotel that is available in the town. The owners, Uriya and his wife Adi, live very close, so they are available at all times to help you with anything. They are wonderful people, very friendly, generous, and kind, and the same applies to their friends, Jenni and Aviv. They invited me to their house to share food, drinks and interesting topics, they showed me around, they even drove me to the train station. I really enjoyed my time there. Uriya and Adi, many thanks for everything. If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely stay at your house.
All the best
I really enjoyed my stay in Beer Sheva at Uriya's house. It was clean and well taken care of. Lucky for me I had a GPS though - otherwise there is no way I would have found the place! I was also very impressed with Beer Sheva and will be writing about it extensively in my newspaper, The Jewish Post & News. Thank you Uriya. If I ever come to Beer Sheva again I won't hesitate to ask you if I can stay there again.
Uriya and his wife are nice and friendly guests. They are hosts themself so they know exactly how to leave my home in an perfect condition! I will welcome them any time again! :)
Everything was perfect. We will definitely come back again. Thank you very much Roos and Astrid!
