Sandra made us feel very welcome! The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean.
The breakfast was DELICIOUS!
I would recommend staying at Sandra's lovely home when you are looking to explore the Stonington, Mystic and Watch Hill areas. The location is very convenient and our room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was much more than we expected and a pleasant surprise.
We had a great time.
Happy to meet Sandra.
Respectful,clean and beautiful garden .
This was a lovely, charming home in a beautiful place. The hosts were welcoming and informative, and the breakfast was delicious the one morning we decided to add it on to our bill. We stayed in the king-sized room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was just outside our bedroom door, and robes were provided to make that trip a little easier. We would stay here again!
I traveled here with my girlfriend and 4-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Sandra herself was on a rare vacation but we were hosted by her wonderful sister-in-law, Chelle. Chelle made sure everything we needed was at the ready and was also helpful in organizing our first trip to the region.
The rooms were delightfully quaint and very comfortable, and our dog enjoyed playing in the yard (although we had to make sure she didn't chase after the chickens in the coop!). Everything was super clean and in well-working order. The shower was extremely powerful and felt like a massage.
Location is perfect as a short drive or even a decent walk to all of the local attractions.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting to the area.
Thank you, Mark! Jim and I are sorry we didn't get to meet you but heard from Chelle that Layla and our Kelly dog had a wonderful time together. Best of luck to you all in The City.
Sandra was a wonderful hostess for our weekend stay at her beautiful home. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious! Sandra had great suggestions for things to do, places to eat and just a very helpful knowledge of the whole area. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area!
My partner and I had a great time! Sandra was a great host. The house was very charming. It was close to Stonington, Mystic & Rhode Island beaches. Would definitely stay again !
Our family of 6 had a lovely visit. Four kids slept nicely in the loft area and had a blast playing in the large grassy yard after a day at the beach and sight seeing. We were amazed by how tucked away and secluded the home felt while at the same time being short minutes from I-95, Mystic, Stonington and RI beaches. Our hosts were lovely to talk to, helpful and we would definitely recommend it and hope to visit again.
Amazing old house in a perfect location. It allows for privacy, has great outdoor areas with a beautiful garden, and is still close to Stonington, Mystic and Westerly. Our room was large and furnished with beautiful antiques, and we had a private bathroom. Good continental-style breakfast and free coffee all day.
Staying here was great. The hosts made us feel welcome, were available for advice on the area, and otherwise gave us our privacy. Great value for money!
I was greeted warmly, welcomed and shown around by Jim who made me feel right at home. The room was large and comfortable and I loved the option of real air or a/c.
How lovely and historic and so close to 95, Mystic and Misquamicut Beach. I love to drive the old winding roads to see all the beautiful homes and stone walls.
Sandra was so nice, tho I'm not a breakfast person she coaxed me a couple of times and I was glad I listened!. She was helpful for directions and made me feel very welcome.
How wonderful to walk the beautiful pine boards that so many have walked before over 300 years! And Sandra wrote up a great little history of the home I found so interesting. My ancestors Sarah Hurlburt and Simon Kavanaugh entered the US from England and married c:1816 in CT only miles away from Stonington. It's such fun to see how they may have lived.
Thanks for sharing your home, it was so nice to meet both of you.
