Let me just start by saying Randy was the perfect host. His home was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. The fridge was stocked with everything we could need. The other thing that really impressed me was that he let us book extremely last minute and his replies were always prompt. The three of us needed a place to stay on our way to Texas so we were only there overnight. I wish we could have stayed longer and if we come back to New Orleans this will be the place we stay.
Randy was an exceptional host; the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the fridge was very well stocked. We stayed two nights during a weekend so we only met briefly, but his home was our favourite accomodation during our entire 10 day road trip.
Randy was a great host, he took time to show us around and made this stay really enjoyable. He really knows the city and was kind enough to show us some great spot slightly off the beaten path. The house is great, really well looked after, in a great friendly and quiet neighboorhood minutes away from the city park and a short walk from two different streetcar lines. i really hope to have time to come back and would ove to stay there again!
Randy is exceptionally hospitable, and his house is in a great location. No complaints here!
Randy had such a nice spot. I was spacious, clean and comfy. The full kitchen was great with seating/dining area. Randy was a great host and made us feel comfortable. He was helpful by giving us information about New Orleans because it was my first time there. I would absolutely recommend Randy.
Randy was a fantastic host! His home was cozy and the Easy Mac in his pantry kept us from starving after a late flight. He provided everything we could need down to the newspaper featuring a map of the Mardi Gras parades. Thoughtful and humorous, I would def. recommend Randy to other airbnb guests. :)
Randy is such a GREAT host! His unit is SUPER clean and VERY organized. He was VERY accommodating & had the fridge & pantry packed with goodies. Additionally, he was always available for any questions we had about the city.
We had to work that weekend, but I am so glad we stayed at Randy's because it made our life easier. It is the right place to stay if you want to relax. To get downtown we used taxi (10 minute ride a bit under $15).
We will definitely stay again when we come back to New Orleans.
Randy was a wonderful host! He along with his house are both very nice and welcoming. Randy had the fridge and pantry stocked for all of our needs. He was super helpful with answering any questions about the city, transportation or good restaurants that we might have. I totally recommend him and will stay with him whenever I travel back to New Orleans!
We were at Randy's place from Dec. 25 to Jan. 1 and had a great time. Randy was a gracious host, very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating.
The two rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious and the private bathroom worked out very well for the four of us. The kitchen, shared with the host, had everything we needed to jumpstart our day and Randy made sure there were always coffee and things in the fridge for breakfast.
His home is located in a safe residential neighbourhood about 45 minutes away from downtown by foot. There was a bus stop near by, and the Canal Street streetcar that takes you right to the thick of things was about 10-15 minutes away from Randy's place by foot. There was also parking right next to the house, and we often took the car downtown; parking (a few minutes away from the French Quarter) was never a problem.
Make sure you check out the Sacred Grinds coffee house ((website hidden)) near the streetcar stop.
We definitely recommend Randy's place -- we'd stay with him again if/when we visit NOLA again.
Randy's place was perfect for us! We had two adults and two teenage boys, and we had plenty of room to spread out. There is ample parking, everything is very neat and clean, and he made sure we had access to everything we could have possibly needed. We had plenty of privacy even though we shared a common kitchen because it was down the hall and around the corner from the bedrooms. His place is within walking distance from the City Park, and there are several great local restaurants nearby. We'll be staying here again.
