We were 3 persons staying one night. The house was exactly as described, cozy and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen we were happy to use. Also the fireplace kept us warm in the cold desert winter. Avital was super nice, showed us around and let us check out late.
We had an excellent stay. Well equipped, cozy house, friendly host. Fully recommend.
Avital did a wonderful job communicating with us before our arrival and sent his friend Olga to meet us when we arrived. She was gracious and helpful in orienting us to the lovely home and to the restaurant options in Mitzpe Ramon. It was a cold, windy and rainy night but the warm fireplace and wool blankets kept us all warm.
After the weather shifted we had a lovely walk exploring the magnificent crater.
The house was perfect and very charming. We had a wonderful time and the Mitzpe Romon was a great little find. The people we very nice and the the community offered many things to do and visit.
This small home was a great experience of living in the community of Mitzpe Ramon rather than in a tourist area. Avital provided useful information to access the many adventurous things to do in the area. We had ample space for our family of four using the main bedroom (very comfortable bed) and the futon couch that provided two separate bed spaces. The indoor fireplace was very cozy and the outdoor bonfire area as well! Our only advise is that if you're more of a rugged traveler, this place is great! We are more "high maintenance" and found it to be a bit too "down to earth" for our taste. (Our teen daughters disagree with their parents and had no problem with this bohemian-styled home). Though we didn't meet Avital, we were greeted by his friend who showed us the workings of the home upon arrival. They were both very accomodating regarding the time of our arrival and we greatly appreciated that!
Avital has been a wonderful host and has taken care of our every need. The house is exceedingly beautiful and its location is great - right next to the desert. Mitzpe Ramon as a whole is an amazing place, and surprisingly full of things to do. Highly recommended!
Avital´s house is wonderful - we enjoyed it.
Avital is very friendly and helpful host. The location is great - from the terrace you can entrance Negev desert.
There are several sitting places outside and inside the house, fireplace, ... you can just sit and relax :-)
The instruction for guest (such as: where to go to eat, what entertainment Mitzpe Ramon offers, etc.) are printed - it was very helpful.
We were sorry we could not stay longer.
Warm and welcoming house due to Avital- a very helpful host, the great location, the lovely wood burning stove, the beautiful furniture, all made by Avital and the peaceful atmosphere.
We had a lovely stay in Avitals house. We were two adults and two small kids and we spent a wonderfull weekend. Enjoying Mitzpe Ramon and the desert and the house.
We enjoyed from a cosy, home made dinner next to the fireplace on friday evening and on saturday we came back for lunch after a visit with the kids to the Alpaca farm. Avital was very nice in explaining everything about the house. I would definetely come again or stay longer.
THANX/// YOU WELLCOME AGAIN..
We loved this house! My husband and I spent 3 nights at Avital’s house as a home-base for hiking in the Mitzpe Ramon makhtesh and the surrounding area. The house has a perfect location with the desert as a back yard. It is private and quiet. Avital’s workmanship can be seen in the construction of the house and the furnishings, and we were delighted to visit his woodworking studio before we left. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, light-filled rooms, and washing machine. There is no problem with parking. We were at the house in November and there was no problem heating the house. Avital arranged for neighbors Olga and Saar to welcome us and help us with hiking trails, and Saar kindly lent us his hiking map. A highlight of our time in Mitzpe Ramon was getting to know Avital, Olga, and Saar.
Avital is a great host, and answered our questions within a few minutes of sending an email or text message. The hiking was spectacular! I highly recommend Mitzpe Ramon and this wonderful house. Thank you, Avital, for sharing your home.
