In a nutshell:
Born and raised in the Northeast United States, though I have also spent a year in the American Southwest as well as a year in Scandinavia- mostly Copenhagen, Denmark.
Currently, I am a Program Assistant/intern at DIS: Danish Institute for Study Abroad, an organization where American undergraduate students come to Copenhagen for a semester exchange. I am a former AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer, which is similar to PeaceCorps. My bachelor's degree is in Psychology & Human Development. Overall, I'm a curious soul interested in getting to know different cultures and local communities.
Lover of: bicycle transportation, dancing (favorite:West African), sipping chai and people watching in cafes, getting new haircuts, basking on the beach, journalling, taking care of plants
As far as a guest/traveler type - I am independent and self-sufficient, but love to hear insider tips as I am always on a tight budget. As a roommate I am respectful and clean, up for both being chatty and also private. Open-minded and willing to live with or stay with a variety of types of people.
Someday when I inevitably find the spot for me, I look forward to hosting all of you fantastic folks out there :-)
