Our stay at your home was awesome! Your wooden home is situated in a beautiful area of Vermont and provides a great place to enjoy nature in not only a relaxing way, but also in a eco-friendly way. All of the towns surrounding Plainfield were full of little treasures to be discovered. The breakfast accommodations were exceptional: fresh ground fair trade coffee with organic sugar and hemp milk (option of half and half as well). The WiFi connection was good and allowed us to stream movies off of Netflix at night. We both truly enjoyed our stay and would return without a doubt! Thank you again Colleen for being a great host!
Colleen's place is a dream and you don't want to wake up ever! Colleen is really nice and every think was perfect. the location, the river, the little town of plainfield with the best pizza and beer at the poisitive pie just ten minutes by walk in the forest.
I hardly recommand it !!!!! Therapeutic :-)

WE LOVED staying with Colleen. Her house is a dream come true. Every place we looked, there was something sweet and charming to see. The log cabin was so fun to stay in.
Colleen went out of her way to make us feel at home and welcome. She made a yummy breakfast for us and we loved chatting with her. Thumbs up...Gold star. If you are thinking of traveling to Vermont, I HIGHLY recommend staying at this dreamy cabin and meeting the lovely host.
And in addition to all of the above, we loved her doggie.

Loved my retreat weekend in the foothills of this charming Vermont town ... Colleen was the perfect hostess, creating a soft and welcoming environment for rest and contemplation. Nestled in the hillside and flanked on one side by cedar forest and the other by the Winooski River, Colleen's cabin is cozy and comfortable. Great space for a woman's weekend away for with friends. I look forward to returning again!
Traveling is our family passion... we each love separate things more, but we share an equal and substantial joy of adventure and seeing new places. I knew I'd need to be in Plainfield for a retreat at Goddard College, and I thought a family health crisis was torpedoing the trip, when my wife said "Check AirBnB for a place that takes dogs"... and this is how we met our wonderful host.
The warmth of Ceann's welcome exceeds words; we felt totally at home and relaxed before we even arrived. Cyrus the Princely Pup is a joy and got along famously with our dog. The house is a log cabin fantasy dream home. Close access to Goddard and a quick trip to Montpillier, this a perfect location for visiting central Vermont.
Beds were comfy, wifi was fast, bath was luxurious, walking distance to Perfect Pi and the Plainfield CoOp. 5 Star accommodations were enjoyed by all.
Be sure to follow the directions in the listing, GPS and mapping programs were unreliable. Also, take the warning about needing 4W drive in winter seriously; the drive is steep.
