We stayed at Kelsy’s place for a week and had a wonderful time!
Kelsy was out of town, but made arrangements for a friend to hand off the keys. We were shown into the apartment complex, past the 24-hr security booth and the breezy courtyard. We knew the apartment had a view of the city, but we had no idea how truly spectacular the view would be. The apartment is on the top floor of the building, and upon opening the blinds we were completely taken aback by the spectacular panoramic view of Manhattan -- the Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bridges, the Chrysler Building, along with the rest of the beloved New York skyline.
The Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area is great. A quick subway ride to Manhattan, but far away enough to have its own character and charm. The neighborhood around the building is quiet, comfortable and full of greenery. There is a nice park nearby, a university, and many little shops/restaurants/bars. Through our entire trip we were able to get around just using the subway system. Centrally located, the apartment is a short walk to the G, A and C lines. From there you can transfer to almost any line in the city!
The apartment was super clean, organized and accommodating (just as pictured). Kelsy herself could not have been more gracious and hospitable as a host, thinking of everything from local transport and dining recommendations, to laundry facilities and access to her full kitchen. I would rebook her apartment for a stay in New York in a heartbeat, no matter what my business was being there. At Kelsy's you are a hop, skip and a jump away from all that this glorious city has to offer.
Thanks again for everything Kelsy!!
