I live in San Francisco and have been an AirBnB host since the summer of 2011 and have had a lot of fun renting my place so far. If you are interested in staying at my place, drop me a line!
Thanks for looking,
We recently stayed at Jeff's house for a family ski trip: 9 people, 3 generations. It is gorgeous! Spacious and bright, beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, very comfortable, big kitchen and living room area, perfect location for the major N. Tahoe ski areas and Tahoe City.
The house was great! Fully-stocked, and the location can't be beat. My group went to Sugar Bowl and the drive wasn't bad at all. The only thing is that the air mattress in the living room has a hole in it, so a couple of people had to sleep on the couches. No biggie, though.
Communication with Jeff was also good and he gave us clear instructions for check-in and departure. DEFINITELY going to go back. Maybe for the summer next?
This house has several great things going for it. The location and view are perfect. The rooms are well arranged and generous. And the house is well equipped and supplied. There was no snow on the ground when we were there, but the climb up the hill could be a problem if there were. That could be the price of the view!
Our three-generation family of 10 spent a wonderful Christmas at Jeff's house in Tahoe City. It was the perfect space for all our Christmas festivities. The large, open, functional kitchen was perfect for preparing festive meals, decorating gingerbread houses, decorating cookies, making lunches for skiing, etc. The open great room provided magnificent views of Lake Tahoe, lots of light and space for games, activities, a Christmas tree and a flat screen TV for entertainment. The bedrooms provided ample space for four separate family groups and both the family dogs also enjoyed the space. Every day offered bright beautiful sunshine- perfect for long walks, runs and 10 days of downhill skiing (though conditions were more spring-like than winter). Jeff's house on SnowFlower Lane is a great location- close to Tahoe City, Tahoe House(great bakery), groceries and most importantly- skiing! We'll definitely plan to visit again- Thanks, Jeff for a great house to enjoy for Christmas 2013!
I stayed here with my family over Christmas, and we had a blast. This is a very beautiful house in a convenient location, a short walk to Taos Plaza. It is recently remodeled with a truly fantastic kitchen. We felt like it was a very unique New Mexico experience! With a group of 5, the house was a nice size and very comfortable. While we didn't meet Jeff, he was very helpful and welcoming.
This is a beautiful newly restored adobe house in an historic old plaza only a few minutes walk from the main tourist plaza of Taos and yet completely private and quiet. It is perfect for two couples, as the two main bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house and each has a private bath. The beds are very comfortable. Owner Jeff has put a lot of thought and money into the renovation, and he has done a great job. There is a kiva fireplace and flat screen TV in the living area, and the kitchen would make any chef happy. Jeff was easy to work with, and he does his best to assure his guests have a good experience. Be sure to get specific driving directions to the house, as the street is not marked on most maps of Taos.
I'd totally recommend staying at Jeff's place, it is well groomed and in an amazing location.
We had a great time staying in Jeff's house. We had 8 people stay and I think this is the perfect amount for this house. I loved the open floor plan of the upstairs. From the kitchen, living room, and deck you can see everything going on and talk with everyone. Plus, there is a ton of natural light that pours in. The outside deck has plenty of space and has a gorgeous view of the lake. You can enjoy the lake view from the entire upstairs floor. The house is very close to Tahoe City. Jeff was very accommodating of all our requests. I highly recommend this house!
My family of eleven (including 5 teenagers) definitely enjoyed Jeff's home, but were unfortunate to be there during a very unusual heat wave. The first night, none of us could sleep, so the next day we bought several fans that helped a lot.
The other problem we had was keeping ice, since the icemaker did not work. There were only 2 ice trays, so we purchased 2 more, but still had to make a run for ice daily. The pantry was well-stocked with many staples, but they were hard to find, so we organized everything in it and contributed some additional items as well.
The view was lovely and the back deck overlooking it was perfect! I would have to say, the beach is really too far to walk, but you can catch the TART to get anywhere on the lake a couple of places if you walk straight down the hill.
Since we were there during the 4th of July peak visitor season, everything was extremely crowded, especially the highway going both directions around the lake. Thank goodness we made reservations about two weeks in advance for all the recreational activities our teens (and some adults) wanted to do.
Hosted a 6 person tahoe trip to this cabin. Had a great time as it had plenty of room, a great sized kitchen, and a beautiful view out to the lake. Would definitely return
There were some small things like certain lights not able to be turned on and some burners working intermittently. Also, internet speed is quite slow. However, these were tiny and the overall experience was very good.
Jeff was also easy to work with
