My Name is Duane Pierson. I am originally from Easton, Pennsylvania. I received my teaching degree from University of Scranton. Upon graduation I became a volunteer educator in Alaska for two years - and stayed there for eight more years - working as a teacher, school bus driver/summer tour guide, kayak and climbing guide for a remote island school about 20 miles out in the Pacific. I recieved my masters in Psychology from the University of Victoria and my Administration degree from the University of Vermont. I live in Moretown with my two daughters and giant dog Loki. I enjoy many outdoor activities as well as hanging out, playing music and cooking at home. We are a very active family - especially with all the great activities that occur in our Vermont village... we look forward to sharing a bit our world with you.
