Noel's apartment was perfect for our stay during SxSW. There were three of us, two sharing the bed and one on the fold out futon. The neighborhood Clarksville is under 2 miles to downtown and simple to get to West 6th if you're headed that direction. We rented bikes since during SxSW you can't grab a cab either way, but any other time this would have been a 3 minute ride.
The apartment is one block away from a great grocery store if you need any supplies. Noel was super helpful and even reached out to notify us that the WiFi was down before we even noticed.
Noel was an awesome host. Her place is clean and in a quiet, safe location not too far from downtown. Noel was very helpful in providing tips on the neighborhood and how to get around. Thanks!
My friend and I had a positive experience at Noel's place in Austin. The location is great, the studio flat is situated in a nice, quiet & green part of town, 5 minutes drive from downtown, and with local cafes in the vicinity. The flat itself is good for 2 people (otherwise may get crammed!), a couple can share the comfortable bed, or alternatively one person can sleep on the couch easy. The deco of the flat does represent Noel's charming and quirky character while also giving that homely feel. And it was sparkling clean when we got there - you could tell that she had made the effort to ensure the place was spotless.
Finally a few words on our host Noel: she represents all that we liked about our stay in Texas. Polite, sociable and fun. She is someone we immediately felt comfortable with and the type of person we'd hang out with.
Noel's place was totally perfect for us. She made it easy to coordinate getting keys and made some great recommendations for good places to eat and drink nearby (go to the 24 Hour diner and get chicken and waffles. BEST YOU'LL EVER HAVE.)
House was clean and comfortable, and we made good use of the kitchen to make a big breakfast almost everyday. Would love to come back!
Noel was nice and efficient and we had seamless and easy communications about renting her apartment, time to meet, etc. her apartment was exactly as advertised, and in a part of Austin from which it is easy to get around. There wasn't too much in the form of amenities, and no hand soap in either the bathroom or kitchen, but I had an enjoyable stay and a great time in Austin
Noel was friendly and accommodating, she was out of town so her neighbour gave us the keys. The apartment is very unique, artsy and positively weird. :) It's a bit more run down that what is seen on the pictures, but well located.
Staying in Noel's apartment is a perfect Austin experience - unique, artsy and homey at the same time, and in one of the best neighborhoods in town.
Noel was extremely nice and helpful in giving advice and answering questions about the neighborhood, downtown Austin, and miscellaneous places from her personal journeys. She was also flexible with the check in and check out times which made planning for our trip that much easier. The apartment was freshly cleaned, as well as all the bedding and linens, and had everything that could need. It was a pleasure meeting and talking with Noel; I would stay there again!
Had a great stay, the place was neat and clean, host was very friendly and accommodated our schedule.
Noel was super nice and accommodating - she went out of her way to coordinate schedule to mine, which was appreciated. The place was a great value especially during SXSW. Possibly the best part was the neighborhood - her recommendations of nearby Zocalo and Cafe Medici were spot on. There is a $1 bus to downtown just 2 blocks away, which was great too.
