What bad experience? Didn't expect luxury, just a more up-to-date place to stay.
I wasn't blaming the rain on you. It was a statement of the lack of lighting on the walkways and the lack of drainage in the parking lot and walkways.
I talked to you on the phone once for about 5 minutes and explained the situation and we booked another place to stay. It was my mistake for believing the photos, and in the end, you have the money we paid for the "villa" we didn't use but for maybe 2 hours.
I made the mistake of not taking photos of the "villa" before we left to prove the condition of the place. ( I should have read the refund policy more clearly before we left for Bali.) And, after reviewing other guests reviews, I'm not the first to have these opinions.
Additionally, as for your comment about keeping things good, I'm not sure what it is in response to. We were only in the place a maximum of 2 hours! We didn't even unpack our bags!
If this is how the other people who put places on airbnb react to criticism, I probably won't ever use the service again.
