Ich heiße Sie herzlich Willkommen in München und wünsche Ihnen einen schönen Aufenthalt in einer meiner Wohnungen.
We had a good stay in Munich, and this flat was the right place for us ... it's a short bus ride from Pasing station, which makes it easy to get to the centre of Munich on the S-bahn.
The flat is fine for two people (a couple). It's a double bed, so for couples who are are used to a queen-sized bed or larger, then this may be an issue.
All the other places we stayed with through AirBnB (four other flats in a three-week trip) included wi-fi internet. This was the only one which did not.
Communication with Mr Jung was not great, to be frank. He was slow to respond to emails. Mr Jung hands off the whole process of getting the keys etc to Fr Mayser, who was pleasant and business-like to deal with.
Stayed here with a group of six for the first seven nights of Oktoberfest in late September- this review will probably only be relevant for those planning on staying here during the festival in years to come. Considering how expensive Munich can be during this period, this apartment is a great choice. The fact that Thomas allows up to six people in the apartment makes it very easy to save money by spreading the already reasonable cost over several people. Having six people in the apartment was a little bit of a squeeze, but very manageable considering you spend almost all your time at the festival. You should also note that the apartment is in Pasing, a suburb situated next to the centre of Munich. You cannot walk to Oktoberfest from here, although it is very easy to hail a taxi from the nearby main road. The taxi fare was roughly €15. If, like us, you require a larger taxi to fit more passengers, I recommend finding out what the taxi phone hotline is- the operators speak perfect English and the service is extremely efficient. Lastly, the apartment does not have any wifi. We were hoping that the nearby McDonald's would provide us with a hotspot, which it did not- however we later discovered that the Burger King next to McDonald's offers completely unrestricted wifi, which made life a bit easier!
Mr Jung was a gracious host, very helpful with our long-term stay and his local contact Fr Mayser was prompt with our keys and available by phone. We were seeking a place to be self-sufficient and we found it here! Close to the U-Bahn and in a nice neighborhood with all the amenities. A little noisy due to construction but that does not reflect on the host.
The apartment had all the necessities in the kitchen and bathroom, and the entire flat was very sunny and nice. I would recommend Hr Jung to other travelers wanting to come to Munich without being right downtown with all the hostels and tourists. Marienplatz and Altstadt are very easily accessible from the U-Bahn 5 minutes away.
Very good Location, direct on U-bahn line 3 and on Petuel park. Very friendly janitor and tenants. Not well equipped if you like to cook. Overheated Apartment.
the apartment was as described on (website hidden) was a pleasant stay.the lady that takes care of the apartment is very nice and helpful she can be contacted on her mobile phone anytime.quite street and close transportation.
We stayed in the apartment for one month and it was very unpleasant. We never meet the owner. He used to ask money for various reasons through the mediator. I just paid around euro 450 extra (outside the context of Airbnb) to get rid of him. I shortened my stay to 1 month from 2 months. I will definitely not recommend this place.
The apartment was not what it was advertised. It was a one-bedroom, not two-bedroom. The bed filled the whole bedroom. One inch on each side, the door to the bedroon would not close. There was no washer or dryer. The contact with the host was practically non-existant. He did not answer my emails. I would not recommend the apartment.
Nice and cozy apartment, great location close to Octoberfest. Was 6 of us and the flat was ok for shorter stay. Not impressed with the lady who is in charge of cleaning the flat as two out of four air beds had holes and when we reported it after first night, she was nearly arguing with us she had checked them and that they were ok ( they were for the first sight, but once you tried to sleep on them the air went out within few hours). The lady said she was going to come and check it the !!!next morning!!! which meant second out of three nights when one of us had to sleep on the floor again and she said we better be right that they have holes otherwise we have to pay for her petrol to come to the flat, so we did not bother to argue and my brother rather spent all night on the floor. Make sure you check the air beds first, if you staying in more people as you might not get any help during the stay. Otherwise the stay was pleasant, Munich is beautiful and the flat has nice balcony.
we got changed from our original booking to another apartment because of building works, the replacement was very small, had minimal cooking facilities and was in an apartment block that was questionable , fairly noisy as it was next to the autobahn, 1 double rock bed and 2 blow up mattresses, you could do a lot better I'm sure, Ms Mayser is a gem though, very helpful and nice !
Mr. Jung's assistant greeted me at the central train station and let me have the key. She was very easy to get a hold of and also was very patient with me as I was new to the area. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed outside of our personal items. Everything was fresh and I really can't say anything bad about the experience with Mr. Jung. Would stay here again if the opportunity would come up!
Sehr nette unkomplizierte Gäste. Jederzeit wieder!
