Dear Afiya, I stated clearly in my review that I accepted my mistake. It was no fault of yours that I left the key in the house and most importantly I should have informed you that I will be coming home late. Maybe I was asking for too much by expecting that you should have responded to my messages between those hours when you should be enjoying your sleep. About the light I can't remember leaving it on. Must have left it on by mistake because of the rush that morning. It is not in my character to be wasteful. The Cab driver that brought me that morning was very argumentative. Since it was my first time in East Boston, I relied on him thinking he was very conversant with the area. Even though your description was very clear he took us a very long time to locate the street because of his attitude. I was so much in a rush that I didn't pay attention to details. I only reacted to the situation which was no fault of yours. I want to use this opportunity to apologize for the misunderstanding and to say a big thank you for allowing me bring my things to the house several hours before check in. I do appreciate the gesture. The problem was clearly communication. Will see you again in the near future hopefully!
