bonjour, hola, guten tag, ciao, shalom, olá, hallo, hello!

i'm renee, world traveler and frequent airbnb-er with 40 stays in 7 countries and counting--ALL POSITIVE GUEST (and HOST) REVIEWS. otherwise, i'm a SWF, financially responsible, budget minded, working professional, non smoker with big love for the family yellow lab super duper cooper (aka coopy bubby or boopy) shown in my photos. more importantly: (relatively ;-) normal, kind, healthy, balanced, considerate and respectful and rarely home due to long work hours and lots of travel and exploration. move over louis and clark ;-).

i'm open but quite private, quiet (on creaky floors or late hours i tend to tip toe out of courtesy :-), but a warm and friendly guest. i interact with host(s) when there is a mutual click, chemistry, or connection and can be a chatty cathy; otherwise i'm pretty indy and just go about my business:-).

important to note, i'm an immaculate clean fanatic. i leave zero footprint behind--except maybe my catchy energy and perhaps on special occasions for my special peep hosts, possibly a bottle of wine--and prefer guests/hosts do the same: no water/towels on the bathroom sink and floor, no hair or surprise rings in the sink, tub, toilet, no crumbs on the counter, no dishes in the sink/on countertops and no dust etc. to me there's simply no reason do do any of that with or when company.

care for my own space like gold other peoples spaces like platinum. my mother taught me when invited to someone's home to always treat it like your own and use really good manners--so i guess one could say that makes me a good guest and too, a good host...at least from what i've been told :-)

and on that note, i'd like to say that i'm a HUGE HUGE airbnb fan and champion. airbnb has captured and dominated the market on the coolest way to stay, but also is THE platform that a.) made my once relocation to NYC not only possible and feasible but practical providing for extended temporary housing while look for a long term apt but b.) who also enabled the extension of my initial ONE month trip to europe in 2012 to THREE WHOLE months and c.) allows for (affordable) frequent trips back to the big bad apple when i want to do my own thing and visit but not stay with friends! without bnb none of the above would even be possible. i 3 you airbnb.
