In my spare time, I like to hike the local trails, visit the many great wineries in the area, and enjoy the local music scene. I'm also a fan of the great restaurants around Charlottesville.

Kathy was a perfect host! Her home was lovely, neat, and welcoming. It was in a beautiful community with mountain views. Kathy even provided us with coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, and eggs. I didn't get the chance to meet Kathy but all of my interactions with her were easy and she seems extremely warm and professional. I would 100% stay in Kathy's home again if I'm visiting Charlottesville. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the town!
Kathy is a gracious host! The townhouse is only 10 to 15 minutes from the University of Virginia medical campus even in morning commuter traffic. The bed in the private room was very comfortable and the bathroom entrance is right in the bedroom. I had space in the refrigerator and freezer for my special foods necessitated by food allergies. The townhouse complex (The Woodlands) is very quiet and well cared for. It is best to arrive in daylight since the street signs are not well lit at night.
Lovely home, gracious host & sweetest dogs. Kathy was more than happy to accommodate us on short notice. My wife and I were greeted with fresh baked cookies and departed with delicious bread. Thanks again Kathy!
We had a wonderful weekend. This was a first using airbnb and wasn't sure what to expect, but our hostess made us right at home. Everything was as it was described!
Our stay at Kathy's lovely home was wonderful. Her space is very inviting and warm. She had freshly baked cookies waiting for us in a bedroom which was cozy and comfortable. One of our top Airbnb stays so far, and we're looking forward to staying there again next time we're in Charlottesville.
Clean, private and bright room with a full bath, easy access to downtown and RT64. Parking right outside the apartment door. Kathy is a friendly and helpful hostess - knowledgeable about doings in C-Ville, and fun to visit with. No complaints at all. Coffee and a light bite for breakfast to top it off. Would definitely go again.
Kathy was a gracious hostess. Because we arrived well after dark, she met us in the parking lot to show us the way to her lovely condominium. She made us feel right at home without being intrusive. In fact, much of the weekend she was at work and took her two cute little dogs with her, so we actually saw very little of her and had full run of the communal part of the house. She provided fruit, granola bars, chips, and coffee. The home itself is clean and beautifully decorated. While the view was more limited than suggested in the pictures, the patio is cozy and inviting. We would certainly stay at Monticello Views again should we revisit Charlottesville.
Staying with Kathy was great! She was warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the Charlottesville area. Location was great for us, and convenient to downtown, the walking mall, restaurants and bars. Our room was clean, bright, and comfortable, as was the rest of her home, and we enjoyed the delicious cookies she left for us upon check-in! Kathy has two small dogs which were very friendly and did not in any way disrupt our stay. Just before we left, we enjoyed hot coffee out on her patio on a chilly fall morning. I'd recommend staying with her for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend in the Charlottesville area!
What struck me as most important to this experience, was her professional approach and ability to accommodate on a very short notice. The place was very clean and well maintained and Kathy was friendly and efficient. She even had some snacks in the room, which helped me after a long drive beforehand. I would indeed recommend her place for others.
We had a great time at Kathy's place. She was very quick to respond and her home is a very sweet. It was like a home away from our home! We loved being there and she provided great goodies like homemade bread and snacks. We enjoyed a beautiful morning on Kathy's porch having a cup of coffee and treats before venturing into town. It is a close drive to UVa and downtown Charlottesville. We would love to go back again! We have spent time in Charlottesville and know Kathy is very knowledgeable about her town.
