I'm in the antiques business and love history, travel and talk.
Patricia was very nice and thoughtful. Her place was in a good location and very well maintained and very spacious. I would definitely recommend staying with her!
It is amazing house and we love the small cat and beautiful garden, it is also convenient to take muni to downtown. Here should be a perfect place to stay for all travellers to San Francisco.
We were surprised over the seize of the apartment. It was much larger than we could tell from the pictures. The location was great, just next to the Golden Gate Park and with bus lines on the street, for easy access to the rest of the city.
Patricia was a great hostess and gave us some good tips on where to eat and what to visit. It was also great for us that she had a highchair and other baby equipment, all of which we could use.
My stay at Patricia's home was wonderful. The apartment was cozy and in a perfect location away from the touristy hustle and bustle.
Patricia was a great host! She met with me right upon my arrival. Her place was clean, charming, and very spacious. I even got to meet her cat who came in for a visit! It was perfect for what I needed. I definitely would want to stay here next time I'm in town.
Thank you Patricia!
All was perfect, exactly as described in your profil. The apartment is really comfortable and well organized. The bedroom is large, The main room is beautiful arranged, and it was not a problem to have our daughter (24 h-years old) sleeping on the sofa which is perfect and comfortable.
The bathroom is really functional with enough hot water all the time and a very good heating of all the rooms.
The district is very well placed with several very close small shops (on foot) on Balboa street, also close to Geary blvd and Fulton street. Easy to park our car, and a bus stop just a few meters away on Balboa st., direct to downtown.
What else? A very cosy garden with 2 cats so cute, who told us welcome on arrival and ... Good bye on departure :-) so funny.
And you Patricia, very discreet but present if need be.
Thank you for all this, your home was fully a part of the sucess of our trip!! I recommend warmly your home!

This is a great place if you're traveling with little kids. Patricia has a lot of little touches - like a high chair, toys, and a travel crib - that make managing an infant or toddler much easier. Other pluses: the neighborhood is quiet, and there are lots of great cafes and restaurants near by. If someone in your party wants to sleep in, the bedroom is light tight.
One caution: the kitchenette is a bit hard to use, so don't plan on doing much more than washing cereal bowls and wine glasses.
It was very nice to return to Patricia's place to celebrate Thanksgiving with my West coast family and baby granddaughter. Hers was my first Airbnb in San Francisco when I came out last March for the birth of my granddaughter and it felt like coming home again.
Patricia is a perfect host and the neighborhood is one of my favorites, so nice itself and so convenient to everything.
I have to say, this is the inclusive Airbnb experience as advertised. Sometimes you don't even meet a host (which is often fine by me), but meeting Patricia was such a pleasure and made our stay in San Francisco all the better.
The space itself is like a cool clubhouse or rec room: bottom floor, wood everything, and a kitchen/bar area that makes it feel like you're on board a neat old boat. The bed was very comfortable (as was the pull-out bed per our friend who slept on it), and the backyard was beautiful for sitting in and visiting with friends. Patricia and her cat (Alvin, I think?) occasionally visited, too.
I was in town to do a reading from my new book (The Box Wine Sailors) at a nearby book store, and Patricia was kind enough to attend the reading! She even bought a copy for her vagabond daughter (sounds like we're kindred spirits). She also provided us with wine and snacks as a welcome gift. All around just a pleasant, warm experience.
