I am a super host in Airbnb that I have hosted over 200 guests from over 20 countries with 140 booking within 10 months since my place is very simple, clean, easy check-in and check-out, has good location with reasonable and affordable price.
I am pursing PhD in University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, major in Medical Informatics, attempting to find prompt, cost-effectives and accurate diagnosis for cancer and thus improving health of patients with cancer based on my working experience in Mayo Clinic.
Most of time every day, I stay in my office or bedroom to read scientific papers and do my research. As a student, my life is very simple, and I am very quiet, optimistic and joyful almost every day.
Except for that, I do like movies, reading, hiking, biking, driving, exploring different places. I had visited Washington D.C, Philadelphia, Boston, Niagra Falls, and over 20 states. Therefore, I have lots of experience to share with you.
I know how important it is to have a nice and comfortable place to stay with reasonable price since I travelled a lot and stayed in many different places. Especially, I know what the tourist needs. Luckily, I have my own place available for visitors to stay in a completely unfamiliar city with reasonable and affordable price which is just 20% of hotel.
My philosophy is to be simple, win-win, helpful, beneficial, thankful, joyful, trustful, easy going, respectful. My hosting is not money making oriented, but provides an affordable place for those with limited budget or income like me as a student. I charge guest minimal for maintaining the house, paying for the tax, utilities, mortgage.
My place is not in perfect condition, like Hilton, However, everything works, and it is nice, clean, cozy, sweet and convenient for you to stay. You will feel that you will be greatly welcomed and feel to be at your home. If you are picky with high standard, and want everything is in perfect condition, my place might not be right for you.
If you are the first time user to book a place via AirBnB, my hosting is a good start to build mutual trust between host and guest. I try my best to build the reputation of AirBnB via my hosting.
I have had 140 booking and hosted 200 guests via AirBnB within 10 months. 95% of my guests are very nice, decent and easy to deal with. That is what I expected and I enjoyed knowing and interacting with them. However, 5% of my guests are extremely picky with very high standard. You could not fulfill their requirements no matter what you do. This phenomena is normal with 95% in normal range and 5% in extreme range. Anyway, I won't close my place to serve my guests and treat them very well because of these several picky guests. Majority of future guests need my hosting and I am glad to have the opportunity to host them.
Even though I hosted lots of guest, my hosting is not as professional or perfect as hotel. Therefore, I would like to have your advice or criticize face-to-face or private feedback from the review to improve hosting experience or service. I am extremely open mind and will take action if the advice is reasonable. I will try my best to accommodate potential guests even though I am busy with school.
Overall, the place is simple, easy, comfortable and clean. It is a good place to stay with reasonable and affordable price. No parties, no cheating, no fraud, a good place to go. Have you expectation low when you are booking, it turns out that you will be over satisfied when you are checking out.
