I'm a community organizer and people-lover living in Baltimore with my crab/seafood expert fiance (husband as of October 12)! We both grew up in Maryland, but love exploring new and different places. Our last big adventure was to South Africa to visit our friend in the Peace Corps. Recently we've taken road trips to Asheville NC, and the mountains of VA. Between us, we've covered most of the east coast and we're ready to branch out!

We're avid foodies -- I run a farmers' market as part of my job, so I love eating fresh, local produce and other goodies. We love new beers and wines as well -- Dave is like a kid in a candy shop whenever we go to the liquor store, trying to find something new and delicious from a small brewery or family-owned winery. We like discovering new places, seeing beautiful things and meeting new people.

I would say our travel style is pretty laid-back. We don't have a rigid agenda with a list of sites to check off. We enjoy talking to locals to get a feel of the area and see which places really stick out/are most manageable. If you could provide us with places nearby where we could get a taste of the local flavor or take in a beautiful sunset we'd be eternally grateful.

Both of our life mottos are actually tattooed to our bodies (it's less easy to forget them that way). Mine is "Think consciously, act with thought, and love with action." Dave's is his family motto -- "Stand sure." They're pretty reflective of our personalities. We're a little bit untraditional, open-minded, and weird (in the fact that we're not afraid to be ourselves).

Thanks for reading and we hope to learn more about you as well!
