I love traveling, I love sports, and I love music. I live in Brooklyn, but I'm on the go a lot, so renting out my apartment when I'm out of town works perfectly for me. I'm always game to meet new people as well, so this site attracted me.

I was in New York for New Year's Eve 2015, and stayed in Sun's apartment for 7 days. The apartment is spacious and really nice to live in. The is a living room with a big TV and a very comfortable couch. The bed in the bedroom is big enough for 2 persons and comfy. Looks like in the pictures, and it was tidy and clean.
As a location, the metro no. 3 is right in front. And you can go directly to Manhattan with it. We visited a lot, so this was a huge help. We didn't walked to much in the neighborhood, but I can say the street where the apartment is located looks good and feels safe.
The host, Sun, was fast responding to my questions, and gave us all the information we needed before coming there. Simple and fast, just the way I like to communicate.
I enjoyed Sun's apartment and I recommend it to others.
Sundiata is an excellent host. He was available when we needed him and provided prompt assistance. His home is roomy and very clean. The neighborhood is convenient to all of Brooklyn.
The place was at a good location. The subway is literally just outside the front door. And there are other stations nearby to use when commuting late at night and some lines aren't running. The apartment was nice however it was fairly chilly at night and there weren't enough covers available to stay warm. The apartment was clean with the exception of the blanket on the bed that had some stains on it. Sun was a great host and responded to my messages and questions promptly and was always willing to help to the best of his ability. He was flexible in accomodating our check in and check out times, which was very helpful as we were flying in to nyc. There are a lot of places to eat nearby and we checked out one of the spots he recommended and his suggestion was great.
Sundiata's apartment offers a lot of space. Room is in the back so very quiet. It's not the most modern apartment but everything you need is there. Communication with Sundiata was very easy, I could even use his hipster bike. The area is very interesting; the park and the museum of course but also all kinds of nice places pupping up everywhere and all that with a very cool and mixed crowd. I wish I could have stayed longer!
I was very pleases with my experience with Sun. He was easy to contact and addressed all my concerns. The apartment was as described and its located in a quiet neighborhood. It's located directly across from 3 train metro station.. I often travel to NY, & plan to stay again!!! Thanks Sun
Great neighborhood. The apartment was super close to subways. Very clean and spacious. Sundiata was kind enough to suggest some local food spots to hit up. Overall a good experience.
Sundiata took care of having those little but important essentials ready for us: supply of bathroom tissue, towels, a new, pkgd box of Dove bath soap, Kleenex, a comfortable and made bed, a table in bedroom for our use and needs etc. Interesting how some folks are more intuitive than others about those needs.
Our contacts and arrangements for arrival and departure were seamless and easy. The location could not be better for use of the subway, which we used extensively. We felt safe at all hours and shopping was close by.
Sun's house was cozy, clean and welcoming. We were traveling as a couple. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. Sun was responsive via text and we didnt run to any problems in the house. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy and might make some people uncomfortable but we were ok with it. The house is located right above the metro station which was good due accessibility and bad because you hear metro noises in the living room area. Overall, we recommend this place.
Sundiata was very kind and prompt in his messages. The place was perfect for my parents--big, nice, clean. We were all so happy it worked out for them to stay in my neighborhood in a nice place with a good value. If I didn't already live here, I'd love to stay in this spot too! Great location.
Great place. High ceilings so you never feel claustrophobic. Extremely clean floors that are a joy to walk on barefoot. Bedroom is located in the back and is dark/quiet. No street noise at all. Bathroom was big and well equipped with toiletries. Very comfy couch for watching shows off your laptop. Extremely close to the Eastern Pkway 3 station (like a minute or two from the front door.) Air-conditioning is strong and not too noisy. Good value!
Sun is a great guy and a good host. This man scrubs the bottom of his sneakers on a weekly basis, so you know his apartment is sparkling. And the place is almost too big for a New York apartment...double-sized living room. Also, it's convenient to subways and other transport.
I've know Sun (pronounced Soon) since I moved to New York in 1999. He has lived in the same place since I met him and is just a consistently good stand-up person. He's gregarious and charismatic. He also has his own businesses and hobbies that keep him busy. Hanging out with Sun or going to his house is always a highlight of our friendship, although I usually only see him a couple of times a year. I have recommended Sun's place to my international friends and they have nothing but positive things to say about him. I would highly recommend him and his spare room.
My name is Samantha, I love travelling and creativity in the greatest sense of the word; a rolling camera, music, the magic works of a pencil, every interesting piece of fabric or personality. I travel a lot and rented this appt from Sundiata during my stay in New York.
Staying in this appartment has been a true joy!
For starters it´s very spacious and when I say spacious I mean very spacious, especially for an appt in NYC. Next to that the appt is, what I found to be very essential, incredibly clean, the bathroom, kitchen, living areas, floors and rooms were all really clean, spacious and on top of that very well organised. Everything you need is right there. The appt is very well lit, there's a lot of daylight during the day, which makes it very pleasent to be there as well.
The appt itself is situated in a very nice Brooklyn Brownstone, located right in front of the station where the Manhattan bound 3 train stops; a very convenient train, either taking you to all the most convenient stops in Manhattan or if you need any other train, to Atlantic - Pacific Av. where you can transfer to mutliple trains like the D, N, R, B, Q, 2,4,5 or get off for the Atlantic Mall. In the immediate neighborhood of the appt there are a lot of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores and such, where you can get everything you need. The appt is also close to some of Brooklyns nicest spots like Prospect Park with it's Botanical garden and the Brooklyn museum.
Sundiata has been very helpfull during the period I rented this appt from him. He has been very pleasent to deal with and is a very friendly, easygoing and honest person, who will be happy to answer all your questions. I would be happy to rent this appt in the future and would recommend it to anyone, who is looking for a well located, spacious, very clean, nice and well organised place, fully equipt with everything you need, to rent during their stay in New York.
