Luc is the first guest that complained that I overcharged him. He told me that he paid USD65 for the medium room and his friend paid only USD30. He stayed with his fellow traveller (no idea the 2nd person was). An additional USD10 was charged on top of the normal USD35 which is the rate for that booked date. He complained that the room was too small. I told him that what you see on the internet is what you get. There is no deception! I offered him full refund but he declined and said he wants to stay on.Since the internet was not good that day, I could not verify how much he paid via airbnb. I offered a discount of US20 per day. He wanted cash refund but I told him that I will refund via airbnb. The next day when I checked the airbnb online, he only paid USD45 for 2 pax per nite.I emailed him and later he told me that he made a mistake in converting the exchange rate. Anyway as a gesture of goodwill, I refunded him USD5 per nite and USD10 for 2 nights.
Oh..what an unpleasant start but a happy ending at last.
