I was born in England and I moved to Madrid after finishing my degree. I worked as an English teacher before starting my own consultancy company providing English language consultations to executives.

I enjoy studying psychology, economics, sociology. I enjoy motorbikes, discovering new music, going to the gym/spa, jogging, interior design, cooking, museums, and meeting my friends or having dinner parties.

I would like to rent my apartment to earn some extra money as things are very difficult now in Spain. I bought the apartment in 2005 and I have worked very hard on it over the past few years. I started by gutting the whole space out and creating three rooms; an open kitchen with living room, bedroom and bathroom with bath tub and shower. Recently, I've been working on the balconies which have been completely restored to their original style. Also, I have laid down an American oak floor and put a ceiling fan up over the bed.

I'm very concerned about the news of vandalism on Air BnB and I'm worried about letting my apartment to someone who doesn't have any respect for the effort I have put into making it what it is over the past 5 years.

I try to consume goods in a more collective style rather than random mass consumption. From the cutlery to the furniture, every purchase for the apartment has been a well thought out investment, there is no Ikea or poor quality imitation furniture. I have almost arrived at the point where I can say the apartment is perfect and needs nothing else doing to it.

My home is my life. I've been working so hard to create the perfect home for the past few years. I would only rent my apartment to someone if I was absolutely sure they could be trusted.
