Hello - I'm in my mid thirties, work too hard and enjoy getting away from it all with travel in the UK and overseas. I used to backpack everywhere but after a trip to Costa Rica a few years ago, realised I've outgrown hostels, preferring cleanliness and a little peace and quiet these days!
When I travel, I love to meet people who know the city and can recommend stuff to see/eat/do that isn't just the typical touristy stuff, so airbnb sounds ideal - a friend just recommended it to me over the weekend, so I'm very new to it all, but love the idea.
Back in London, I'm a proud home owner and I am extremely clean. We have a spare room in our house and we're always hosting friends (and friends of friends)who are either visiting the city or recently moved to the city and are apartment hunting. I love to be a host and cook for people and I am very sociable.
I realise I am new so do not have any ratings. I saw that a couple of hosts (understandably) prefer guests who have ratings, but I would like to think I'm a considerate guest - hopefully you can give me my first good rating for future airbnb stays!
All the best, Charlotte
