Amy and her family were an absolute joy to meet. They were incredibly hospitable, from creating a private and clean space bedroom and bath to ensuring we had properly warm clothes for the winter chill. Over our long stay of ten days, we were always happy to return to their warm home.
Can't recommend them highly enough.
Amy, Andy and family were the most generous and warm hosts. They made my husband and I feel completely at home during our week+ stay. The guest room and bathroom in the downstairs are very private and comfortable, and if we were in need of anything, from directions, to a sled, to a cup of coffee, Amy and Andy were completely attentive and helpful. They have a sweet and adorable dog, too! We couldn't recommend their lovely home near the park more.
Amy and her family were totally relaxed about our not very precise arrival time. Amy provided tea in the evening, pointed out some good restaurants in Montpelier, baked delicious muffins for breakfast, and sent us off with a packet of homemade Christmas cookies for the road. The room was warm, comfortable, and quiet -- a welcome resting place on our winter travels.
Lovely room and bathroom, very clean, hearty breakfasts each day. Amy, Andy and family are warm and welcoming. Nice park opposite to walk/jog around. We'd highly recommend!
Breakfast was the heartiest I've ever had so far. Neighborhood was extremely quiet. Amy and her family were great. Staying with a family was different, they will be likely be busy doing family stuff. Waking up to the kids going to school in the morning and seeing the way the house was decorated made me feel like I was back home again. But having the lower floor practically to yourself also made it feel very private. The place was always kept warm and the private bath was great.
Awesome place. Super clean and friendly. We felt like being part of the family. Highly recommend it.
Amy and her family are very welcoming; I very much enjoyed meeting them! I only stayed at Amy's house for one night, but I would have very happily stayed longer! And I would definitely return if I were visiting Montpelier again!
The bedroom, bathroom and the breakfast room are very pleasant, very nicely decorated, and of course very comfortable and super clean. The house is very quiet, in beautiful surroundings, very near to a wooded park. Which means that it isn't located in downtown Montpelier, but the walk is very pleasant. And should you do not feel like walking (I found the way to the house was a bit steep but enjoyable), Amy seems very happy to help her guests by driving them downtown. I went to the Lost Nation Theatre (a real gem by the way) and Amy collected me afterward. Considering that the play finished around 11pm, I could not have found a more helpful host!
Good size room in spotless home in upscale, woodsy neighborhood. Amy and family were helpful, hospitable and quiet. Dog was incredibly cute. Hiking in woods across the street and town of Marlborough was enchanting.
The house is located less than 5 minute from the Main Street and 15 seconds from the Hubbard Park, beautiful. The bed is comfortable, the nice, orange/white bathroom is next door. Amy is a very pleasant host with a nice family. Will stay with them in a New York minute if back in Montpelier.
Had a lovely stay with Amy and her family. They are very friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.
The accommodation was comfortable and clean and located in a quiet and beautiful part of Montpelier.
We would recommend staying with Amy and her family.
Nice and caring guest. Easy to communicate. Recommended Airbnb user. Always welcome back.
Amy was an awesome guest! Very nice, clean and tidy and an all around easy going person. I couldn't be happier with the experience of the hosting and would absolutely give an easy recommendation to any other hosts. Thanks!
