We had a superb time at Louise's place. She is a very warm person, who makes you feel at home from the moment you enter her (amazing) house. It's very quiet there, and it's just a ten minute walk to the subway station. We were three adults, but the bedroom is so spacious that this didn't pose any problem (unlike the other airbnb's we have tried in Japan). Louise took care of a delicious breakfast each morning. We highly recommend this place! And as an aside for cat lovers: one of het two cats is an Abyssinian.
My sister made another dream come true, for the both of us who share the same birthday month and travel bucket list. We are to experience Japan (particularly Osaka) for the course of eight (8) days, and of course with another travel buddy… our cool mom! Prior to that, I think, from getting our visas (which only took 3 days) and booking a place to stay via Airbnb all went smooth! Definitely, it greatly helped that Louise, our host, is a very thoughtful person. She’s easy to contact and is always in touch. Her directions and reminders before and when we reached Kansai worked excellently. And, she’s always concerned for us and considerate with our needs. We love how she made us feel we are welcome to her home, and thus we felt like we’re at home. Louise is eager in helping us with our itinerary, every day. She drew us maps (how to get here and there) and all her recommendations to us are informative. She’s never invasive or rude to her guests. She’s sweet, humble, kind and always caring. We appreciate her every effort and simple generous gestures. It made us look forward for another visit in Japan. In fact, we miss our mornings with Louise because she prepares simple breakfast for us. And every time we get back from our travel, she’s there to welcome us back home and she’s fun to chit-chat with her on how our day was spent. Her home is neat and houses different traditional Japanese bits and pieces… which are all amazing and total work of art. Her extra mile service is indeed satisfying. It made our first Japan experience pleasurable and memorable.
Very cozy, nice and clean house to stay if you want to experience the authentic living style in Kobe. It's nothing like Osaka or Tokyo. It feels good when you wake up by the noise of kids going to school. Everything slows down here which makes you relax and enjoy yourself. Louise has been very helpful to offer lots of detailed information regarding to transportation, places of interests and so on. We had a great time there and start to miss her two lovely cats now LOL.
Louise is a very warmhearted person and a great and helpful host. The house Is roomy and nicely set next to a small stream.
Absolutly no complaints. I would stay with her again any time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. It is a very convenient location, being only 10 mins away from the nearby train station which is four stops from the Sannomiya town centre. The host was marvelous and went out of her way to provide useful information on the tourist attractions in and around Kobe. Her instructions on how to get to her home were clear and we have no problems following them at all.
The home was lovely and the bedroom spacious, far larger than my expectation of a Japanese home. So we had a wonderful stay in the home and will come back to it again if we travel through Kobe in the future.
Lousie was a great host! She helped with information, was very kind, and also the breakfast was great. Very reccomended, and would stay there again anytime.
It was a wonderful experience to stay with louise and in her house.
Just as everyone said, it's easy to find . Take us around 10 minute to get there by walk. But if you take a lot of bags, suggest you take a cab. It will have a big step to climb.
the bed so nice, as good as any super star hotel .
Luoise is a very kind lady, very easy to understand. we
we leave much earlier than planed, and it was raining. thanks for you gave us an beautiful umbrella and the fruit and bread. It did helped us a lot. We barely have time to eat in, the food help a lot!!!
We miss you. Louise!!
Louise is very nice mind and warm host providing and reminding us every details details on logistics and tourist spots. I Love the two story old building locating in a very quite peaceful yet easily approachable half way the mountain, and only 4 stations away from the very Kobe centre, which is so cool. The bed room is very spacious and comfortable , the breakfast she made for us is absolutely healthy and great refresh to morning. I recommend to everyone who prefers to stay a bit away from crowd ness. You will enjoy the stay at Louise's.
