I have recently moved to Cleveland to accomplish my Masters of Business Administration at Cleveland State University.
I am a traveler and an inquisitor. I love discovering new cultures and meeting new people.

Patty's house is a very nice 100-year-old renovated house on two floors. My room was on the second floor. Patty's mom Monica was very helpful: she greeted me when I arrived with tea and cake, showed me around the house and made me breakfast for an extra fee. She also stays on the second floor, while Patty lives on the first floor with her partner. It was great to meet Patty too and chat over tea. Patty and Monica were very helpful with information I asked about the city and were always available if I had any particular needs (hairdrier, extra blanket etc). If you want a family-type of environment, this is the right place for you. The neighborhood is safe (it is the nice part of Shaker Heights). Thank you Patty and Monica!
I stayed at Patty's house. The room was extremely cozy and clean, and exceeded all my expectations. It was worth the price. Patty and her mother Monika are extremely nice and friendly hosts. The biggest reason I prefer airbnb to hotels is because I get to communicate with the local people, receive useful information about the place, and know their opinions about various topics. Patty and her mom were extremely talkative and we shared many opinions regarding some topics. I had a great time talking to them. The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend that.
I wish I had there longer during my trip. If I go back to Cleveland again, I will stay there for sure. I would recommend the place to anybody who is going to Cleveland.
Great cozy stop on a long road trip! The room was comfy and impeccable. And Patty and Monica were super nice and fixed me a cup of tea and some cookies upon arrival.
Monika, Patty's mom (who could be my daughter) is wonderful and so much fun to talk with. We found we had much in com.mon. I loved this airbnb and will definitely stay again when I have to go to the Cleveland Clinic. The room was clean and quiet and the neighborhood beautiful. The room is on the 3rd floor, but if this 70 year old can do a 3rd floor walk up, anyone can. Although no tv, there is free Wi-Fi and that worked just find for me. Besides I was quite tired at the end of the day so relaxing with soft music worked fine for me.
Description is accurate. Charming, comfy, cozy, although my husband and I only partook of the additional spaces (i.e. dining room) one time during our stay. Breakfast was pleasing and nutritious. I would stay there again if given the opportunity, and hope to continue the connection with the host, Patty, who was personable and accommodating.
My wife was having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, and things were pretty up in the air for me, accommodations- and duration-wise. Patty and her mother Monica were very accommodating with my last minute request to stay and the uncertain duration until my wife was discharged.
It was such a relief to arrive at their warm, beautiful 1920s home after days in the hospital's institutional setting. After one long day, I arrived, plunked down in a chair in my room to read, and 20 minutes later Monica popped up with hot tea and a snack!
If you find yourself with a little spare time, it's also totally worth engaging them in conversation--I really enjoyed not only their home, but their company as well.
We'll definitely look them up again next time we're staying Cleveland!
Patty and her mother are just great host. They take time to talk with you and help you to plan what you want do. They also give you some precious advices and take care of you with good teas and polish cake!
When you travel it´s always great to find a place where you feel at home. That's exactly what we felt during our stay.
The room and the apartment are very nice and really clean. The neighborhood is safe and very beautifull.
You can book, you won't be disappointed. From the beginning to the end of your stay, you will find a real home and meet great people. Thanks again for all you've done and your welcoming.
My flight to Ohio came in late Friday night and I had to get ready to photograph a wedding early the following day. The room was perfectly cozy & had been made up for me. They even put a bottled water on the bed, which was just what i needed :)
The next morning as I was getting ready for my day they were super attentive to helping me get whatever I needed so I could get out on time.
Can't recommend highly enough! If I visit Cleveland again, this will definitely be where I lay my head.
