I grew up in Mass and went to the University of Vermont. It was there I fell in love with Stowe. I have been going to Stowe now for 35 years.

This house is great for large groups in Stowe. I stayed here over a weekend with some friends and we all really enjoyed this house. It is close to the mountain, hiking, & great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a great ski house - lots of rooms, private, large kitchen/living space, great hot tub. Amy and the management company are great to work with and both are very responsive. However, the Internet never worked for us. The decor is dated (think Brady Bunch), which we all thought was charming and perfect for a ski house.
We were welcomed to the house with VT chocolates and chips. Beautiful place tucked up in the woods, but close to town. The house was roomy and well furnished. The adults loved the fireplace in the living room. The kids loved the jungle gym rings in the bunk room.
Amy's house is the perfect getaway for a ski trip to Stowe Mountain. The house easily accommodated our party of 12 and even had rooms to spare. The main floor is large, open and perfect for large groups to gather around for meals, games, and chilling time beside the fire.
We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the house for anybody looking for a nice mountain getaway. You're missing out if you don't stay here!
The house and experience was great - the house easily accommodated our large group and was situated on a beautiful property close to town.
Amy was very easy to work with in both booking the place and with logistics.
The place has a dated, old-school ski house vibe -- perfect for a group looking for a no-frills, big house that can sleep a ton of people. If you are looking for polished decor and modern furnishings, probably not for you.
We were a group of guys gathered for my friends bachelor party. The space worked perfectly. The deck/Jacuzzi combo was ideal, and the kitchen is very spacious, plenty big for a bunch of dudes to work in. The pond was great for a quick canoeing, and because we were pretty far off the beaten path, we had loud music and no complaints. After the weekend everyone was thinking about how we have to organize something just like that again.
Great stay with some amazing skiing (we were spoiled with nearly 30 inches of snowfall 48 hours before our arrival and another 6 the second day). The house was well kept and very clean. Amy really thought of everything which made the stay that much more pleasant (hanging robes for the hot tub; plenty of fire wood; a fully stocked kitchen; plenty of towels downstairs). I highly recommend this house for any large group or even a few couples who want plenty of space and privacy. If we come back to Stowe in the summer, we would absolutely book this house again.
Place was great. Didn't get the snow we were hoping for, but a good setup for our startup company rustic snow country retreat. Comfortable large living room open to the kitchen where we did most of our hanging out, loved the hot tub, kitchen well equipped for cooking a few meals in, and check in and check out was a breeze. Beds were comfortable, and linens were clean. Wifi was too slow to use dependably, but that might have been due to the recent ice storm effecting the satellite dish. Hopefully we can do it again next year, would definitely recommend.
This house exceeded our already high expectations. It handled our group of 14 with ease and there were a number of extra unexpected touches (robes for the hot tub, plenty of firewood stocked, etc.) that made the stay even better. Amy was very responsive to all our questions as well. A wonderful stay all around.
