The cottage was clean, cozy, and spacious-- exactly as described. The location was also fantastic and Lisa provided detailed directions for arrival and departure making our stay wonderful.
Although we didnt meet Lisa personally, she was friendly and easy to deal with when we booked her cottage. Lisa's cottage is delightfully cute and very clean. Kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully equipped. Air con can be quite loud for light sleepers but we didn't mind. Bed was slightly sunken in the middle but on the whole, it was a lovely place to rest after the long and winding drive to Hana. Thanks Lisa!
What a slice of paradise! The cabin was immaculate and just perfect!
The Heavenly Hamoa rental was absolutely perfect for my husband and my recent trip to Maui. We drove the road to Hana and really wanted to take our time and stop and see everything so we decided to stay a night in town and work our way back slowly the following day. This place was great! The house is completely updated and so comfortable and spacious. It's within walking distance of two beaches and very close to town. The only thing I would say, which Lisa is very up front about, is that the house can be difficult to find so make sure you arrive in the day time!
Great experience here at this quiet area. Excellent location and very clean. Thanks Lisa!
Lovely cottage as described by other reviewers. Living room/kitchen area was larger than we expected. Location is wonderful as it is very quiet, lanai is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee, and Hamoa Beach is just an easy five-minute walk away. The Gypsy Guide app on the Road to Hana is a must for driving.
Lisa's place was perfect for us (my adult daughter and myself). The house was located very close, within walking distance of the beach. We got up one morning and watched the sunrise, however it was overcast that day and could not really see the sunrise, but we had the experience. Lisa's place was a perfect base camp for us since we were able to explore all of the "Road to Hana" from end to end. All of the amenities were great. Wifi went out for awhile, but that happens in rural areas. Since we were out exploring during the days, we stayed two nights, we didn't really enjoy the outside/yard as we could have. I did sit on the lovely porch one morning and enjoyed my coffee. I would recommend Lisa's house to anyone looking for a convenient and hawaiian feeling stay.
This is a great place to stay for anyone who is traveling on the Road to Hana and doesn't want to rush back to other parts of Maui on the same day. Walkable to both Koki Beach and Hamoa Beach. The apartment was clean and well stocked.
This cottage was beautiful, clean, cozy and a great one night stay off the grid. The space was nicely renovated, huge bathroom and all the fans and the AC unit kept the whole place very cool. The shower had great water pressure, and the kitchen was stocked well for anyone looking to cook. Our host also had the place stocked with towels, beach towels, and bathroom necessities which was super thoughtful.
I felt right at home and loved being able to walk over to Koki beach or wake up and watch the sunrise down the street at the water front. The property was very easy to find and in central location to great beaches, delicious local food, and exploring the road to Hana. Neighborhood was also very friendly.
My fiance and I would love to stay again someday!
