During our first trip to Seattle, it was important for us to find an apartment that was central to all the locations we wanted to visit and activities we had planned. Andre and Joel's apartment suited us perfectly. Just steps to Pike st (a major thoroughfare), Pike Place Market and a number of other attractions were less than a mile west, while less than a mile East is a very cool neighborhood called Capitol Hill; both easily walkable and with tons of shopping and dining options.
If you've never been to Seattle before, I highly recommend renting a car and driving around to the various neighborhoods, as they are spread out and not easily accessible without transportation. For that reason, I also recommend getting the parking pass that Andre and Joel offer for a small daily fee. The garage is just a few buildings down from the apartment and is open 24 hours. Street parking is very hard to come by in the neighborhood.
The apartment was very clean and cozy, with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, cable, and a washer and dryer en suite.
Andre and Joel themselves were extremely pleasant and attentive, and any questions I had were met with prompt response.
Overall, I highly recommend this place, and Seattle in general!
We had a wonderful experience at the P3 Throwback in Seattle. It is in the most perfect & central location. You can walk just about anywhere - to Pike Place Market, Downtown & to great restaurants in Capital Hill. We even walked through town to the Space Needle. It is also close to public transport if you don't feel like walking. It was quiet, clean & homely. It is the perfect size for two people sharing. The hosts were also extremely helpful and responded to every query & request promptly.
We had a great stay. Had everything that we needed. Very convenient location right next to the convention center. Only thing that could have been better is the lighting which I thought could have been brighter. Would recommend to others.
Great location for visiting Seattle. Nothing to complain about and everything one would expect was there.
Superb location - 5 min walk to downtown or central Capitol hill but tucked away in a quiet street next to Freeway Park. Also close to bus routes and Convention place bus terminal - you rarely need a car for getting anywhere in the city. If you want to explore further afield you can be on the freeway or at the ferry terminals in a few minutes.
The apartment is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated - it struck a nice balance being warmer and more intimate than a typical hotel room but without the feeling that you were staying in someone's home. Overall well equipped (including good quality kitchen utensils, etc.) - Andre and Joel had obviously paid a lot of attention to practical details and we never really found that the place lacked anything.
The hosts keep out of your way - we never met them face-to-face - but were very friendly and extremely responsive to any of the questions we had.
If you want a great base to explore Seattle you couldn't ask for better place to stay.
I loved staying here. Andre and Joel made accommodations so seamless for me. Believe it or not, the place looks even better in person! A very convenient location since we pretty much walked everywhere. I cannot wait to come back and stay with Andre and Joel again.
The condo was very welcoming and Adre' and Joel texted to make sure all was ok. We felt right at home. The proximity to all our family was especially helpful.
This is a pleasant, comfortable and quiet apartment. Andre & Joel are attentive, friendly and helpful. We were pleased our stay in the apartment.
Andre and Joel's place was brilliant and in an absolutely ideal location. It's right down the road from the Starbucks Roastery, just up the road from an amazing veg hot dog place called Cyber Dogs and right in the middle of downtown Seattle. Easy walk to Pike Place Markets and slightly longer walk to the Needle. We couldn't believe our luck.
The place itself is spacious, clean and has everything you'd need. Beautiful, modern kitchen. Lots of shelf room in the bathroom. Can use the TV to watch what you want from your phone sitting in a nice, comfy couch.
Tried to text Andre and Joel as the instructions mentioned the phone was a more reliable contact method, but you had to actually call the number, which was a hotline. Ended up just contacting them via Airbnb, but they were perfectly responsive and helpful on there and they checked in with us to make sure we'd arrived OK.
Can't fault the stay and would absolutely stay again. Thanks so much!
Best place to stay in Seattle, I highly recommend this unit.
It is walking distance to downtown and about a 10 minute walk to the Pike Place market.
Will stay here again when I go back to Seattle.
