We liked this place for the views, it's spacious for two people, the neighborhood was nice and felt safe and the pool was good to swim in and enjoy. The only thing we might note was that due to thin walls and proximity next to the bay, sounds do carry. That said, we liked it a lot, would recommend it and look forward to a time when we can return.
Everything was as described and pictured! We had a really great experience!
I found David's apartment a perfect place to stay in the Miami area. It's very well located in a quiet area within walking distance of shops, restaurants and of course the beach. The on site parking was great for us and last but not least there's the apartment itself: clean, comfortable and spacious with an unbelievable view from the 9th floor balcony. I hope to stay there again in the future!
El departamento esta en buenas condiciones, tal como aparece en las fotos, las vistas al canal y al mar son increibles! El edificio Tiene una piscina con un deck para tomar sol muy bien mantenido. David se preocupa mucho de sus huespedes, nosotros tuvimos un inconveniente con unas sabanas y David nos dio una solucion en un instante solucionando todo. Nuestra experiencia fue muy buena y volveriamos a arrendar ahi sin duda. Gracias David por el servicio y el departamento.

This apartments are clean and comfortable. Location is good, cute pool. But there are some disadvantages.
There is no internet, even if the owner will say you that it is. Extractor fan in the kitchen does not work correctly, all food odors stay in the room. You can't place orders from online shop at this address.
However our stay was fine.
Not a great experience by any means! Up to arrival communication with David the host was great. Upon arrival with another adult and 2 children the apartment seemed beautiful, though there an overpowering bleach smell). After the hosts, Kerrie and David left, and having had the opportunity to use the shower, sit on the couch, open the fridge, and walk barefoot on the floor (we have a crawling child, so this was a major issue). We learned that the place was only surface cleaned. Floor was dirty as all of our feet turned black. It was washed, but it seemed that dirt was simply moved around along with the nasty bleach smell which wasn't comfortable, but was a concern with the kids. The shower was falling apart. The curtains falls apart with a simple touch and washing kids was impossible and not pleasant with a part of the shower not working to move water to the lower faucet. After 2 hours we felt uncomfortable to stay and made the decision to contact the hosts and explain our concerns and we decided that we want to leave to stay in a hotel that (website hidden) initial communication with David wasn't pleasant. I tried to be apologetic about the situation and genuinely explained why we would like to leave. David responded by screaming at me that he washed the floor 3 times...At that point Kerrie took over the communication, which was much more professional. I could hear that she took it personally, but she responded well. I did ask them for a full refund (minus Airbnb fee) as I felt the cleanliness was below the standards, and that was the reason for our departure. In the multiple communications that evening, David and Kerrie agreed for the full refund and said that they will work with Airbnb. I felt that this was a great way for them to resolve the issue without any (email hidden)e worst came following that through various communications trying to resolve the issue of refund. We were refunded 2 nights (our reservation was for 3), which I would be ok with if that would have been what that host would have told me, but they committed to a full refund. I sent multiple emails and called to David ( he simply hung up on me) in attempts to try to resolve it. I never heard back from him. Ultimately, Airbnb had surpassed my expectations and took it upon themselves to resolve and they processed the refund on Airbnb behalf since the host was unresponsive to the communications. More than being disappointed with cleanliness I was disappointed by the lack of follow-up following the incident and how the host responded. I do not like sharing negative experiences, especially when perception of cleanliness varies among people, but the handling of the situation by the host David left a bitter taste and I was asked by Airbnb to share the experience!
David take one night more and that was perfect.
David est agréable et respectueux. Il est prévenant et j'ai retrouvé l'appartement propre. Ce fut une bonne expérience.
David was a really good, kind guest and a super cool dude in general. Very helpful and easy going. He left the room spotless. I'd have him back anytime.
