I'm a publicist for food producers and restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. I also specialize in small business, green business, environmental and other progressive causes. I'm also the Director of Sunday Streets Berkeley, our city's Open Streets Program.
I'm musician, and grew up playing in American fiddle contests.
As a traveler, I can't stop walking. I try to cover a lot of ground, fast paced all day long. My priority is neighborhoods, and getting a taste for different commercial districts and cultures on the ground more than official "sights." I don't like to stay out extremely late (and don't come in very late) because there's so much to see the next day. For me a huge reason to travel is the food. It often defines my daily itinerary, route and schedule. I love seeing how restaurants, cafes, bakeries, delis, street vendors, markets operate. So I don't use kitchens very much. I eat out as much as possible. But green tea is my coffee. I really must have my green tea in the morning!
I don't hog the bathroom (I don't have much prep!)
