My wife and I like to travel with as few barriers to connecting with the local culture as possible. We prefer the slow back country road to the high speed rail, putting miles on our shoes vs a tour bus, and renting apartments vs hotels. We're not going to run with the bulls necessarily, but we'll happily sit with a local while they share their experience doing so.
An ideal trip for me would include natural or man made beauty, a connection made with another human, new knowledge, new perspective, and short of any of those, a memorable food experience will do.
As guests we aim for clean and thoughtful, leaving a place better than we found it.
We are new to Airbnb and are really looking forward to the adventure
