We had a very good time at Rael´s place in Shibuya. If you´re looking for a spot for all the action this is perfect. A lot of great places to eat around and all the shopping around the corner.
The apartment is big (compared to a tokyo hotel room) and suited the three of us very well.
Rael's apartment was fun to stay in. Really enjoyed the way he decorated the place and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Location is great and once you know where it is, it's easy to get to. The building itself is quite old and run down but the apartment is clean and safe. I would stay again.
The apartment was really cosy and had all the facilities as advertised. What I really liked about the place was its location. You can see the apartment building from Shinsen station (1 stop away from Shibuya) and had a pretty big Lawson (convenience store) nearby. The main Shibuya shopping area is just a 5-10min walk away and it has quite a bit of food shops (ramen shops, yoshinoya, fast food) that closes pretty late.
The downside to being close to a station is the noise. You will hear some warning jingle just before the train comes. That said, it wasn't that big of a problem for my group as it was nothing compared to the snores of my friend.
Rael was quick to respond to any enquiries and will help you if he can. Thankfully I did not have much to bother him with.
Overall, I really liked the convenience of the location and wouldn't mind staying in this apartment if I ever visit Tokyo again.
Great Location, 7 mins walk to Shibuya station. Tons of fun places to go around it. Check in and check out are very easy. Totally recommend it.
Rael's apartment in Shinsen is in a central location within a 50 foot distance from the train station, which is one stop away from Shibuya. The exterior appears a little run down at first but the interior of the apartment makes up for it. The apartment is incredibly clean and comes with various features like a washer, kitchen, bathroom/ shower w soap and shampoo, and TV. The wi-fi that Rael provides is incredibly useful when roaming around Tokyo. We had a small issue with the DVD/ Wii but Rael came over to the apartment immediately after I notified him to help out. Great stay!
Rael was an excellent host and his apartment is in a great location! We loved how Shibuya is only a few minutes away from the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to be back.
Rael was very friendly and communicative. The apartment was in an amazing location, close to the train station, good restaurants and the supermarket. Would love to stay there again if i go back to Shibuya!
This was my first bnb booking and am happy to say that it was a great experience! Accommodation was exactly as the pictures shown, huge plus point that the location was superb; short walk to central Shibuya and Shinsen Station is about 20m away. Rael was prompt in his replies, was helpful and accommodating for our late checkout as well. Will definitely book again with Rael! :)
Functional and clean. Steps from Shinsen station and just a few minutes walk from Shibuya station. Rael is nice and was available whenever we needed him.
The flat is very well situated, less than 15mn walk from Shibuya station. It is convenient and clean, and Rael was very helpful everytime we needed it. The portable wifi was an undeniable asset, allowing us to stay connected during all our stay.
However, the bedding is a bit thin, and I wouldn't recommend it if you suffer from backache.
Rael is my old cusotmer. Clean and quiet as usual.
Rael is an awesome guy and a good friend I have known for years now. He welcomed me into his home as a roommate years ago, so I know a lot about his hospitality, good nature, and dependability. Having lived in Shinsen, Shibuya many years he knows a great deal about the entire area- daytime and night. haha He actually introduced me to airbnb as well, and I couldn't recommend a friendlier guy as a host!
Rael is an outstanding friend. I've known him for over 5 years here in Tokyo. He's always there for you always ready to help with what ever comes your way. Who ever gets to stay over at his place is a very lucky person!
