I am one of the family members of this wonderful 86 year old historic family owned hotel. I enjoy sharing our island home with kama'aina (old timers) and malihini (new comers).

The hotel was great! I liked the system of door codes, it meant we could show up whenever we wanted, and didn't have to worry about whether or not anyone would be home. We had a great stay there!
Staci Is a wonderful host, and very helpful with the local info, Staci went out of her way to make us feel at home.
The 1926 charm of the family owned hotel, made it so much more than anyone could ask for, its open and airy, and clean, Safe feeling.
Loved not having a TV, radio or a clock. Did not need one ,
We was on Island time.
You can see the ocean and sun set right out the back.
You can walk up and down the road it has art galleries.
Every day I seen a new flower, that I did not see the day before.
I would have extended or stay if I could have .
We will be Staying here again when we come back. Love and hugs.

Im glad that you both enjoyed your stay with us. Again it was a pleasure meeting and hosting you both. Take care and please stay in touch.
P.S. The Tat's look great :o)
Hōlualoa (excellent coffee, fresh local produce (those tomatoes! the pork!) skillfully prepared by the chef at the inn, friendly locals) and the lovely historic pink hotel with down-home ambiance was one of the highlights of my week on the big Island. After a day of hiking, exploring, swimming, I looked forward to sitting in the comfy lobby to read and listen to Hawaiian music. Only six rooms in this charming hotel on the hill with cool breezes and fantastic sunsets - if you are lucky enough to snag a room, enjoy!
Im glad that you enjoyed yourself. Hope you can visit again soon.
We absolutely loved staying at Staci's historic hotel. She is a very laid-back host that obviously takes pride in her establishment. She was extremely helpful and communicative with us.
The room and bathrooms were very clean. The quaint area surrounding the hotel provided a feeling of security. Driving into the nearby town for dinner and drinks at night was easy.
We highly recommend staying with Staci at her hotel.
It was a pleasure having you stay here. I hope that you both can come again in the future. Good Luck to you in your Travels. I hope that Hawaii might be another one of your destinations in the future.
I loved the pink hotel as the locals called it and felt lucky to find an opening. Staci was so welcoming and friendly. I had last minute plans and she worked with me to make them a reality. The others that I met during my stay were kind. The rooms were cozy and the towels were even fluffy! Located not far from town but up the mountain so as to be quieter and cooler in the evenings. Parking was available right outside. Really happy with my stay and looking forward to coming back. Staci is awesome!
Stacy is very kind. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood is quite and great for a good night rest. Bathrooms are clean and the showers are nice and warm. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Staci was very welcoming and the description was accurate. We loved the cafe and the restaurant across the street,
I had a fantastic time in Stacy's place! Views from the room were fantastic and everything worked smoothly. Stacy is extremely warm and welcoming person and happy to give help and pointers on where to visit on big island. Mahalo for hosting the Finnish surfer guy :)
Kona Hotel is the coolest bohemian island classic place to stay off the beaten path! Staci has check-in dialed in. Awesome coffe shop and restaurant across the street.
I will stay there again
The hotel was in a good area, not far from main attractions. I didn't get a chance to meet the host, Staci. And didn't need to contact her as she had already given me all the information that I needed. The room had rather thin walls and we could clearly hear our neighbors in the next room. But my husband and I had a great stay at the Big Island. Mahalo Satci.
