"I would rather be ashes than dust" - Jack London
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Anne's Chill at Beach Inn. The place was spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed and a handy kitchenette. The location was perfect for relaxing on the beach, less than a 30 second walk away. The beach itself was quiet and beautiful, with cabanas and sun loungers to rent reasonably. Ann recommended a great local restaurant and was on hand to answer any queries or questions we had during our stay.
This is a great option if you want to visit the clearwater/ St Pete's area!
Super séjour endroit très sympa typiquement américain accès direct à la plage un régal ! ne pas manquer les petits déjeuners chez waffle s .
Cool modern newly rehabbed motel with everything you need for a simple beach getaway! Loved the decor and (email hidden)eps from the beach. There's a bike for guest's use too and trolley bus service close that runs the coast. Didn't need a car. Anne was quick to email me back as I had lots of questions early on. Nice experience!
Anne's accommodation is good value for the money. The room I had was spotlessly clean; the furnishings, although somewhat Spartan, were all new and in fine repair. The bed was quite comfortable. The space was also well equipped; the only possible suggestion I have would be for a small burner unit to go with the microwave and refrigerator - then one could prepare small meals if desired. Access to the beach could not be better - 30 steps away!
I did not meet Anne, but she was very responsive via email to the few questions I had.
Friendly owners, clean, pleasant, comfy, efficiency motel room. (No stove - just a sink, nuke and a good size fridge, plus a shared charcoal grill.) The big plus - It is literally a 20 second walk to the lovely beach. We loved it here, but like most everything in Madeira Beach, this place is right on the main drag - if you can't tolerate traffic noise, this is not for you. Of course you need to go seriously upmarket, or well away from the beach to avoid the drone of traffic in this town.
Anne has four units available. We stayed in unit #3 - a studio. The unit was clean, attractive, and looked to be recently renovated. The nearby road noise didn't bother us much, but the heating unit was very loud. (We stayed during a chilly few days in January.) There's a nice cafe almost right across Gulf Blvd and John's Pass a few blocks south. The beach can't be much closer.
Anne provided beach towels and a welcome Godiva chocolate. Bottom line, we'd happily stay here again.
Clean, and fresh renov. But it's a motel on a road side.. no see view like I thouht because of the pictures, and no full kitchen. :)
I't s not wrong information by the owner, but I took a look at the pictures quickly and been a little desapointed when we arrived.
But if it's what you looking for you will be happy cause like I said, it's very clean. Plus, Anne answered very fast by mail!
It felt like home the minute we walked in. Beach is two seconds away. 7eleven is 5 seconds away. Mad Bar is across the street. They serve $1.50 beers in frosted mugs. Comes with a parking spot. Great use of space. Comfy bed. Fancy couch that pulls out. Kitchen. We bought the place a spatula so now you can flip your omelettes. Would stay again. Will stay again.
The Inn is very clean and comfortable. It is right by the beach so while there is traffic noise from Gulf Blvd. it was worth dealing with because if the location and price. The host was great and would message quickly if we needed anything. She even offered use of her paddle boards. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay near the beach and not pay an arm and a leg.
The units were very clean and the beach was terrific. The combination locks made access really easy.
