I am a vegetarian yogi with a passion for living life fully. I have been travelling and connecting to my true self wholeheartedly for the last twelve years. Now back home and creating community here, happy to share travel experiences over a cuppa.
The flat is situated in a lovely secure setting with well kept gardens and is within easy walking distance from both North Sheen and Richmond. We were attending a course in Richmond and enjoyed the 15 minute walk.
Sheila was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. Thanks Sheila!!
Sheila is an incredible open-hearted and generous woman with an amazing kaleidoscope of life experiences and stories. The apartment is beautifully decorated with treasures from her worldly adventures, has nice size rooms, is quiet and full of light. As a host she is wonderful, very friendly but allows you plenty of space to just chill out if you want. I had only planned on staying two days but stayed a week as I felt so comfortable and at home there. It's on a lovely side street off the main road. There is a bus stop a one minute walk from the front door that takes you straight into Richmond in less than 5 minutes (or walking takes 10-15 mins), truly the most picturesque, safest and well connected outer neighborhood in London. From there, there's a less than 20 minute train straight into the heart of London. Meeting Sheila truly enriched my life and I couldn't recommend her place highly enough.
Sidenote: As Sheila noted in the description, there are a number of stairs to get up to the apartment, I'm no athlete and found it no problem at all, but just something to be aware of if you have any physical disability.
