Had a wonderful time exploring the city and the Seward neighborhood thanks to Rachel's suggestions for local restaurants -- especially Birchwood-- all within walking distance. About 1 mi. from the light rail, we loved going car free! The apartment was charming and the A/C was wonderful on a hot weekend. Because she was away during our stay, Rachel was especially thoughtful in arranging everything in advance and giving us other neighbors in case of any trouble -- which we never needed! Overall a great spot.
The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a very central and convenient part of the city. Communication with Rachel, the host, was excellent. We had a fantastic visit to Minneapolis and would most certainly recommend Rachel's place.

Rachel and Juliet's apartment was beautiful. Wonderfully and thoughtfully decorated, packed with amazing books and poetry, and full of plants and light. We had such a lovely time here. The MSP Greenway is less than a mile away with easy access to Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles, the Macalester campus nearby, and the freeways easily accessible for trips driving. Rachel, Juliet and Finn were warm and welcoming, and so easy to communicate with about the details of the trip. This was truly a "retreat in the city" for us. One of the best air bnb experiences we've had! We would definitely recommend this to any air bnb guests.
I felt right at home at in Rachel's lovely, clean apartment. It was very nicely decorated, with plenty of great books to read, and made for a serene home base for exploring Minneapolis. I especially enjoyed the back yard and garden. The air-conditioning was a life-saver on the hot, humid days. The neighborhood felt safe and inviting. The apartment was very spacious for the price. A great deal.
Rachel was great, very accommodating, flexible, always there to help. The apartment was very large and spacious, especially for two people. It was clean and well maintained, though not new or recently renovated, but it has a lot of soul. The air conditioning worked well, although we only turned it on twice before going to bed. The kitchen is well equipped, great stove and a large fridge with freezer. There is a supermarket one block away. It is a organic/local type of place, a little bit more expensive than your typical supermarket, but it is well stocked and full of interesting and great tasting foods (including all kinds of gluten free, lactose free, whatever-free stuff) and at least 3 kinds of sweet potato :) Right next to the store (Seward CO-OP) there is a Minneapolis Nice Ride bicycle share station, which allows you to rent bikes for 30 minutes and return them to any other bike station. This was great for getting to the University campus (10 min). The neighborhood is very pleasant and seemed very safe. There is a bus that takes you to the light rail (4 min) or you can walk (20min) or bike (5 min) a few blocks to get to the Blue line station on Franklin Av. The train takes you to the airport in about 30 min or the Mall of America in 45 min or downtown in 10 min. Great place, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
Rachel is a great host. She made it very easy to check-in and out of her place. Her very nice upstairs apartment (even the bathroom) is quite spacious. I felt very safe and secure in her place. I especially enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee in the morning in the living room and hearing the birds singing in the trees outside the front windows. The Seward neighborhood is a great location with its amazing gardens and the many places to eat. The Seward Coop is only a few blocks away. My daughter and I rented bicycles outside the Birchwood Cafe (bikes are also available near the Seward Coop.) We rode on a very safe bike path (not in the street) near the Mississippi River down to Minnehaha Falls. I took the very quick and easy light rail (about $2) from and to the airport. My daughter and I also took the light rail to downtown Minneapolis. I would definitely like to stay here again.

This guest was kind and friendly. I felt comfortable leaving her in my home during her stay. Her and her family were respectful of my place and a joy to host.
Rachel and her family were wonderful guests. We communicated well and she left the property spotless! A joy to host and I hope she will return again in the future.
Rachel arranged for her mother to stay with us for a couple of nights this past week. Not only was her mother a lovely and interesting house guest, but working with Rachel to arrange the stay was a breeze. Thanks, Rachel!
