Séjour très agréable, appartement conforme aux photos et au descriptif, il y a une véritable âme dans les lieux, on s'y sent bien de suite.
I had a great week in Gwen's apartment. Nearby there is everything you need, including a beautiful market (Tram stop: Liberation, 7 min.). The private entrance was great: at the evening I often sat in front of the door on the stairs in the sun. Special thanks to Anne, Gwen's friend, who received me warmly, organized me a ticket for the tram, so I came fast on the first day in the old town to the fleemarket ;-). Her support and uncomplicated communication during my stay made my stay perfect. Thank you, Anne!
We had a fantastic stay here in Gwen's lovely apartment. We were two people and found it very spacious for the both of us, with great amenities such as a washing machine, wifi, TV, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as a small private outdoor area. The apartment has been tastefully decorated, and the bed is comfortable.
Gwen really made us feel welcome by leaving maps and recommendations for local places to visit and eat. She lives very nearby so it was reassuring to us that we were able to contact her at any time if we needed assistance.
We hired a car and although parking can be a little bit difficult, we were able to find parking spaces each day.
The neighbourhood is ideally located - not too noisy, and easily accessible to most places in Nice by the nearby tram stop/nearby, and close to supermarkets and local markets plus ATMs.
If you're visiting Nice, I'd really recommend staying at Gwen's apartment!
Firstly, Gwen and her Husband are a wonderful and charming couple who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in Nice. We really felt welcomed here and both took a lot of time to show us maps of the city and where to find the nice markets / shops and attractions. We were even invited for a glass of wine in their home (they live two floors below) which again made the overall experience feel very personal and pleasant.
Regarding the accommodation, this small studio apartment in a converted loft space is very charming and clean. It is located about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the Old Town and is in a suburban quarter. It is close to two tram stations so access to the city is easy.
This place is quite small, so if you are intending to stay a long time then you need to get used to ducking down underneath the sloping roof and after a few days it can feel a bit cramped. Also, if you wish to cook then it has quite limited utilities (the kitchen is more of a 'kitchenette' with just two hobs and no oven) The bathroom is also small however all is very clean and well maintained.
Overall this was a pleasant experience for us. The only thing again is if you intend to stay for a long time and eat in you may find it limiting.
We had a lovely stay in Nice at Gwen's apartment. The apartment is away from the hustle and bustle of Nice (a good night's sleep) but with a very handy tram stop close by. The bed was extremely comfortable and Gwen was very accommodating with our check-out time due to our late flight home. Thanks Gwen!
Gwen and Sebastian (and their children) were wonderful hosts. The arrival and departure were really easy and they provided useful information about Nice and the local area. The flat offers plenty of privacy thanks to it's separate entrance, but Gwen and Sebastian live above so are on hand to answer any queries. The flat is very comfortable and has 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. The bathroom is reached through the bedroom and the kitchen opens on to the lounge. The flat is in a very nice area just north of the centre but easily reachable by tram. I would highly recommend this flat.
Great as always. This is our second time staying at Gwen's. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Nice and the rest of the south of France. The place is clean and Gwen is great at staying in touch with her tenants to ensure a perfect stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at Gwen's apartment. Even though I never met Gwen in person, the check-in and check-out were very well organised with lovely people, who made me feel very welcome indeed. The apartment is cosy and everything is as described in the short intro provided by Gwen on the Airbnb website. Gwen also left some welcome muffins and milk, water and orange juice in the fridge, which was very much appreciated. The location is great - a bit removed from the buzzing centre, but very safe and within a short walking distance to the beach and the centre (20min), with tram stop and rentable bikes nearby. I had a fantastic 2 weeks in Nice and would recommend Gwen's apartment without any hesitation.
Famille de passage, mais très agréable et souriante.
Bonne continuation à vous et peut-être au plaisir de vous revoir.
Bonne rentrée des classes pour les enfants et rentrée pour les parents.

I know Gwen through a mutual friend and stayed at her studio in Nice for a few weeks in May 2011. Gwen and her family are extremely friendly and hospitable and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. At the time, I was the first guest staying at the studio, it is a small but comfortable place, clean and well furnished with a great view of Nice. The location is quite good, in a private, quiet street, but yet within a short walk or tram-ride to many of Nice's attractions and facilities.
