Sean received us well though we checked in late (11 pm). Room was spotless. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The location was about 15 mins away from Ring of Kerry and Sean also suggested us a few places and helped us decide on how to complete the ring comfortably. All in all, we had a very good experience.
Sean was a great host and his B&B was lovely! The room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the grounds. His Irish breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip to Ireland! He also gave advice on the places he thought were worth seeing instead of the more popular touristy places. Would strongly recommend to a friend and would stay again if traveling to Ireland again.
This historic house was a treat for us! The gardens and the setting of this beautiful farm were perfect. Our host was very personable and accommodating, and made us feel welcome in his home. We were thrilled to be there. And the water pressure in the shower made us want to go home and figure out a way to get more water pressure from our own! What a treat!!
Sean is very kind, communicative and always willing to give any information. In general, a great host.
The breakfast was amazing, a bit of everything in a lovely area. Regarding the bedroom, my friend and me are wordless. It's very large, warm and absolutely comfortable. The location is great if you have a car. Highly recommendable!
The B&B was wonderful! The rooms and lounge were big and luxurious. Nice breakfast. Gracious host. Breakfast was the total Irish experience with a lovely breakfast room, irish music, and the portrait of JFK watching over us.
The B&B is located a bit far from town, but surrounded by nature. The host, Sean, was very knowledgeable about the area and willing to help. The B&B is multi-generational (since 1963) and it shows.
Sean was an excellent host. We loved Salmon Leap Farm and would stay there anytime we come to Ireland.
It was great to stay in Salmon Leap Farm, our hosts gave us a warm welcome, we were offered a cup of tea and biscuits and also enjoyed a pleasant conversation. Our bedroom was spotless, comfy and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going for the day, which we spent in Killarney (not far away at all!). Will definitely go back!
Great location for exploring Beara! Helpful host providing us hiking routes& info. Thanks Nathalie
