My favorite memory of growing up was spending a week at Camp L Keta every summer. Camping, swimming, canoeing, campfire, smores . . . I loved it all. Now my one acre home is as close to Camp as possible--I'm a half mile from the Platte River and deer and wild turkeys trek through my yard everyday. And every March I live at the Apex of the Sandhill Crane migration. What an incredible experience!
When not hanging out at Home. I teach writing at a local community college and I write.
In the summer I like going to Blues Festivals. I garden and am interested in Sustainable Living.
My life Motto: If you're not happy, it's nobody's fault but your own.
