We loved our stay with Holly and Teddy. The house is stunning and the neighborhood couldn't have been better - close to Piedmont Park, restaurants and more. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and the private balcony was a treat. Holly was so friendly and welcoming. She really made our stay special and made us feel at home. We hope to stay with her again next time we're in Atlanta." I would give her 5 stars across the board.
My first airbnb-stay in the United States was great!
Hollys home ls located in the beautiful and safe Historic Midtown in Atlanta, and I totally enjoyed walking around in that area ( especially during the snow ;) ).
The room and the bathroom are nice and comfortable.
Holly was super nice and had a lot of very good recommendations ( the best one: "Mary Mac's"! ), and made the first days of my US-trip great!
I'd definitely stay there again!
Very good! Nice, comfortable room, nice house, nice neighbourhood. Holly is very friendly and helpfull. No complaints about anything. Value for money. I can recommend this place to every one.
I stayed at Holly's house for one week over the New Years period. It is a beautiful historic house situated just a few blocks from Piedmont Park (5 min walk). Plenty of free parking is available on the surrounding streets. The bedroom and bathroom are a decent size, the adjoining balcony area would be great in spring / summer (I did not use as too cold in Dec). Holly was a great host -- relaxed, friendly and good company when we chatted a bit. It was initially a bit cold in the bedroom, Holly was quick to adjust the heating to make it comfortable. Teddy is the dog of the house, very playful, I took him to the park for a run, was good fun for both of us.
The house is a beautiful historic midtown house, only 5 minutes walk to Peachtree Street and its amenities (Restaurants, Cafés, shops, bus stops, etc.), Piedmont park. Plenty of parking space if you need. The neighborhood feels really safe, even in the middle of the night.
The room has all you need and more (a great sunny patio from which you can see Atlanta bright skyline at night, a fridge with cold drinks, snacks, a TV with cable, wifi - and not a crappy one!).
The host went the extra mile to make me enjoy my stay, gave me directions to places to visit, waited for me at night the day of my arrival, and allowed me to leave the bags the day of my departure.
It was my first time at a B&B (I usually rent apartments or houses, or go to a hotel) and it has been a wonderful experience. I will be back in Atlanta and I will come here again!
Holly has a beautiful home filled with wonderful art and antiques. It was really nice to stay in a residential area filled with trees and old Victorian charm. I didn't get to meet Holly since she was also traveling, but nonetheless she was a lovely hostess. We communicated easily by text and a couple of phone calls. She was happy to answer my questions and offer suggestions of places to go and things to do. It was a perk to have a little fridge in the room, and Holly had provided some beverages and some treats. She also keeps a stack of area brochures and attractions in the room, as well as a walking map of the Midtown area, which I used a lot. I found several restaurants within walking distance of her home, and it felt very safe to walk the neighborhood, even in the dark. Unfortunately it was rainy the whole time I was there, so I didn't use the bicycle that Holly had said I could borrow, but I did enjoy the private balcony. Holly also offered the use of her laptop so I could check in for my flight, which I really appreciated! Thank you, Holly, for a home away from home, and 2 nights of deep, restful sleep!
Holly and Teddy were great hosts with my most recent visit to Atlanta. My boyfriend and I had to come in very late and Holly was very accommodating with us arriving late after our drive. The home is absolutely beautiful and we absolutely loved the treats in the fridge and room. The porch is beautiful and entire house is unbelievable. I would highly recommend her for a stay in the Atlanta area. Very close to everything downtown!
Holly is a very kind and friendly host. Her house is big and in a nice surrounding, close to good restaurants. The dog is okay. The only thing is that we found the bed in the questroom not suited for two people, at the most for a young couple very much in love.
Holly is an excellent hostess. Her house is beautiful. Her dog is friendly and entertaining. She provided us with directions, snacks and a breakfast of scones and coffee. She also has bikes and is located in an excellent location for walking to Piedmont Park and Mid-town. The room is very comfortable with a private porch and bath. We really enjoyed visiting with Holly.
It was my first time with Airbnb & traveling to America. I just left Atlanta for a few days. Holly was a very very great host. Everything was good & couldn't be better. I had a fantastic trip in Atlanta with very nice room, antique furniture and decent welcome from Holly & Teddy.
The house is located in very good location, coffee shops, good bars & restaurant around. Enjoying Marta to go around the famous landmarks in Atlanta. Definitely I vote 5 stars for the house & hospitality by Holly & will recommend this place for my friends.
Once again, thanks very much for Holly for taking care for me when I stayed in your place. All the best x
