Paris is the best host possible. He showed me around La Defense and even went grocery shopping with me, so i would become familiar with my surroundings. The first night I arrived it was late and he was willing to stay and make sure I understood everything he was talking about. When my internet was not working, I told him and he came over right away to fix it. The apartment is just the way its seen it the pictures. Its really tight in the bathroom, so I suggest only one person stay here. Paris is the best host you could ask for. He makes sure you understand what is going on. If you have a question he is willing to come over and answer it or fix anything. Thank you so much for being so generous. I almost forgot, He also cleaned up the bathroom for me while i was sitting there because the guy before me left it a mess.
Had a very nice stay of two weeks at Paris' flat. I can just say that what you see on the pictures is what you get. It's quite small but equipped with everything you need. The flat is just 5 minutes by foot from Nanterre-Universite RER Station. From there it's approximately just 15-20 min to the city center of Paris. Can highly recommend Paris and his flat.
Awesome!! Very nice room to stay in Paris
the studio is cozy. The RER station is just a few metres from the building.
I loved the stay, very friendly, helpful, highly recommend this estansia, my phone had no signal and I searched the metro station, I mean esactamente where it was, gave me tips on how to walk in the street and where excellent place to eat cheap, thank you very much
The studio is exactly as in pictures presented. It's really small but if you come to see Paris and the room is needed just for spending nights the size doesn't matter. It's very clean and suited in nice place not far from University . RER station is in 5 minutes way and it's very comfortable to reach Paris center from here. After arriving Paris met us at station and led us to the apartment with very clear explanations how to remember the way when we are alone. He gave us answers to all questions asked, about how to reach some specific places in Paris. We stayed in Paris for 6 days and it was unforgettable experience.
The studio is exactly as you see it on the picture. It worked out for the two of us, it is really small, but as one is out in Paris most of the day anyway it does not really matter. It is really close to the RER Station and you are in Paris in very short time.
We had agreed to meet Paris at the RER Station at a specific time and phoned once we arrived but we only got hold of his mailbox. After several calls airbnb support finally managed to get through him and he wrote us and sm and asked us to wait for another hour. All in all we waited 2,5 hours at Nanterre Trainstation in the cold since it was Sunday night and everything was closed. He only showed up 2,5 hours after the time we had agreed to meet. This was not a very pleasant experience. He apologized for the inconvenience, but did not really offer an explanation.
Everything else worked out fine and was as proposed.
No toilet paper
No hot water
No hair washing
This is a student dorm room 30 minues north of Paris. It is a ten minute walk to the RER station
Paris insisted I keep the room clean but did not even provide a simple waste basket.
He said I could not wash my hair because women's hair clogs the drain in the shower.
When I tried the cold shower the drain filter in the shower caused the water to flood the bathroom and part of the room.
The bathroom is too small for the average sized person to use. You must duck to enter the bathroom.
Paris was not available at my arrival time. Something he did not disclose in his ad nor when I booked the room. I had to carry my suitcase around Paris until he finished work. I did carry my suitcase around Paris and made certain I arrived 15 minutes early at the time and place he specified, the RER train station.
Paris did not show up. Do you know how it feels to be waiting for 45 minutes with rough looking people starring at you when you are 10,000 miles from home on your first day in Paris exhausted from carrying your luggage around town for four hours and not have your host show up? It was a horrible feeling. I happened to have his phone number searched and found a telephone service and called him. Paris then showed up.
I was awakened at night shivering from the cold because Paris did not provide a blanket for the bed. The room has no heat. I could not take a shower for three days because hot water is not available in Paris' room.
The host was very nice and met us at the metro which was really helpful and he also took out a map and circled some key places to visit in Paris, as well as how we could get there. The best way to get in touch with the host is over the phone.
The flat is exactly as pictured, and is very cheap for Paris. It was very easy to get to and from the city center and the flat is located not even five minutes away from a metro, which is really convenient. However it would probably be best suited for one person, the bathroom is very small as well as the bed. Make sure to bring your own towels and blankets, these are not supplied by the host. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and it was nice to have the flexibility to be able to come and go as we wished.
Paris was very friendly, he came for us to the train station, gave us a lot of advices and was very helpful. Paris attaches a lot of importance to cleanliness. It’s quite easy to get to the studio from Paris center by RER A. It takes you only about 15 minutes. The cost/performance ratio is very good,
Paris is very hospitality, the room is clean and the location is quite convenient for taking metro.
