I'm originally from Texas and an avid swimmer and water polo player. I love to read fiction, write short stories, and eat ice cream. I currently work in digital production for Vanity Fair.
Tarik and his mom were a joy to host. They took care of my place as if it were their own. I would definitely host them again.
I have known Tarik for about 15 years, through sports, middle school, high school and beyond. I've traveled across the world with him (England, Germany, and Egypt), and I can testify to his cleanliness. He spends to much time lost in thought to possibly make a mess. The only time he's ever lied to me was to convince me to accept his hospitality. I would pick a single word to describe him, but my vocabulary is just not that impressive.
I've known Tarik for about a decade now, we both went to the same high school and we were a part of the Water Polo team. He's a real cool guy and I'm actually reasonably certain he can be friends with absolutely anyone. He's just a real legit guy who can make anything fun. I remember him and I driving like 90 minutes to get tickets to a concert and having more fun on the three hour round trip than I did at the concert.
